Project Title: Analysis of business requirements and preparing proof of concept(POC) for Stock
Transport Order in SAP-ECC 6.0 (Aug ’11-Oct ‘11)
Description & Role: -
Step 1 was learning Stock transport order through a case study which was provided by my
mentor. Prepared and presented the data flow and block diagrams to the key stakeholders.
a. Created company code, plant, storage locations, purchasing organizations, sales
organization, customer, general ledger accounts for the company code, defined the
attributes of the material types.
b. Configured the automatic postings of the accounts
c. Assigned organizational levels to each other based on the case using the
Customizing function of SAP R/3 (Transaction Code-SPRO).
d. Configured the Stock Transfer Process Order using the customizing function of SAP
R/3
e. Performed following transaction like Purchase order (ME21N), Good Receipt (MIGO),
Stock Transfer Process Order (ME21N), Outbound Delivery, Posting of the Goods
Issue. Stock can be seen using the Stock Overview function (MMBE)
Step 2 was preparing the Proof of Concept (POC) by understanding the business
requirements involving Stock Transfer of Power Grid Corporation (Client of L&T InfoTech Ltd
at that time). In the end prepared a presentation of the concept which was the best way how
Stock Transfer process could be performed in SAP system.
