Effects of Technology Technology has been a great impact in our lives. It has quickly developed and continues to expand in our lives. As new
generations develop, new technological devices continue to develop as well. Some believe that technology has had a good impact in our lives like

continues to change dramatically. At one point in life all means of communication was face–to–face whereas now we are offered an abundance of

young people the most in society. There have been theories accusing technology of being harmful to society. Nevertheless, technology has greatly

Technology has been hurtful to the young people in our society by threatening people's health. One hurtful effect of technology is the amount of
physical activity we do in our daily lives. Studies show how the excessive use of technology and media can lead to a lack of physical activity
(Lotrean 77). According to this article, technology has restricted us to large amounts of physical activity. We tend to use technology more than we
do anything else. Children, for example, spend more time playing video games or on their phones than playing outside with friends. The excessive
use of technology can poorly affect young people's diets. The article states, "Additionally, those who watch more TV than the average adolescent
tend to have poorer diets" (Lotrean 77). Using too much technology like watching TV, can lead us to choose quick, easy foods to eat that are most
of the time terrible for our health. For example, if I'm watching TV and I get hungry I will most likely get a bag of chips or something of that
matter to fulfill me. This harms my diet and health because I consume enormous amounts of calories and grams of fat. Using too much technology
could lead to sleeping problems or affect the quantity and quality of sleep. An article states, "At the same time, watching TV is not only increasing
sedentary behavior, but can interfere with sleep duration and quality" (Lotrean 77). This is probably something all young people do. We tend to
watch TV at night and get so into it that we don't pay attention to how late it is getting and we miss plenty of sleep. Another example would be our
phones. We can't let them go when we are on social media at night and we stay up late because we can't get away from technology. Technology is
