EXPERIENCE
August 2005 – Present – SANDEN INTERNATIONAL
Payroll Analyst
Manage the entire exempt and non-exempt payroll system. Processing of hourly non-exempt
payroll that is paid weekly and also process the Semi-monthly exempt payroll. Everything is
done in house via Ultipro Ultimate software. Process quarterly and yearly taxes, 941, FUTA,
and SUI in Texas, California, Michigan, and Ohio. Handle all month end close and also year-
end duties including W2’s. Work with Kronos timekeeping system and face to face customer
service with all onsite employees. Processing and reconciliations of TaxSaver plans, 401k,
PTO, employee advance loans, short and long term disability checks for LOA employees. Also
handling of non-discrimination compliance testing for 401K and Taxsaver plans. Notary Public
for the state of Texas. Handled headcount at end of month. Performed all benefit duties, which
included self-administered billing for over year until we were able to hire someone to take that
over.
February 2003 - August 2005 TUESDAY MORNING INC.
Assistant Payroll Manager
Perform payroll processing for 43 states with over 10,000 employees on Infinium/Cort payroll
software, payrolls include weekly, biweekly, and semi monthly, exempt and nonexempt.
Perform complete payroll cycle including maintenance, processing, cutting checks in house,
and wiring cash.
Perform tax deposits and filings for 43 states.
Processing of W2's.
Perform manual checks, direct deposits, stop payments, and direct deposit reversals.
Supervise payroll clerks.
February 2001 - December 2003 AMERICAN PAD & PAPER
Assistant Payroll Manager
Manage complete payroll processing for weekly and biweekly, exempt and nonexempt
employees multi state, with over 1000 employees, including Mexico.
Manage from start to finish all aspects of ADP payroll cycle, including all data entry, audit
reports, transmitting and finalizing the cycle each week.
Coordinate payroll funding and wire transfers.
Strong ADP skills, also work with JD Edwards, Report Smith, and Excel software.
Help coordinate local, state, and federal tax filings for states we operate in.
Coordinate year-end processing of W-2's and 1099's.
Complete management of all garnishments.
Posting of the general ledger.
Team player with awesome people skills. Work closely with Human Resources departments at
our corporate office and our entire out of state plants to facilitate communications between
departments.
Supervise payroll clerks.
January 2000 - February 2001 CONCENTRA HEALTH SERVICES
Corporate Payroll Processor
Biweekly payroll for region of seven states including both exempt and nonexempt employees,
also contract employees, including approximately 980 employees.
Knowledge of ADP/ CSS Horizon.
Extensive data entry, pay rate changes, employee terminations, setting up new hires, taxes,
bonuses, car allowances, commissions, employment verifications, manual checks, stop
payments and direct deposits.
Auditing payroll reports, manual checks, voided checks, wire transfers and direct deposit
reversals.
