• Being an introvert means that you are
somewhat shy and reserved around other
people. Being an extrovert means that
you are usually outgoing and sociable. Do
you think you are more of an introvert or
extrovert? Why?

• Awkward can mean uncomfortable or
embarrassing. For example, it was
awkward when I used the word “bonjour”
(which means “hi”) as I was leaving my
first day teaching English at a French high

Task
• 1) Share the information about your car

in 2 minutes.
• Try to be as specific as possible and use
hedging!
• This will be recorded for analysis in grammar
class.

  • 4. Conversation Starter • Being an introvert means that you are somewhat shy and reserved around other people. Being an extrovert means that you are usually outgoing and sociable. Do you think you are more of an introvert or extrovert? Why? • (Pathways, chapter 10)
