Nickolas Allen is seeking a laboratory research position utilizing his education and skills in biotechnology. He has a B.S. in Biotechnology from CSU San Marcos and is expected to earn an M.S. in Molecular Biology from the same institution in July 2016. His relevant laboratory skills include techniques such as DNA/RNA isolation, qRT-PCR, and protein purification. He has research experience studying the functions of alternative oxidase and type II NAD(P)H dehydrogenase gene families in Arabidopsis thaliana and has presented his findings at conferences.
