My Autobiography For College
It was about 10:23 in the morning on a cold, January day when I was born at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Ever since I was little I loved
bouncing balls and playing with things that made noise. When I got a little bit older my mom signed me up for baseball and basketball. After a
couple of years I got good and now I play for the Michigan Rebels which is a baseball club and the Gull Lake Blue Devils Basketball. I also have many
hobbies I love to do, and I have a great family.
Ever since I was little I loved playing sports. My mom introduced me to to basketball at a young age. I played GLYBA for a couple of years, and then
in fourth grade I joined a travel basketball team, called a the Gull Lake Blue Devils. When I was in second grade I played little league baseball. I
played little league for many years, till I was in sixth grade. I tried out for the Michigan Rebels, and I made the team.
I have six people in my family; my mom, dad, my brother sam, my dog Bella, and my brother's cat Gracie. My mom is a big part of my life. She takes
me to most of my sporting events, she also takes me to my friends houses, and she helps me with school work, sometimes. My dad is also a big part of
my life. He took care of me when I was sick. For example I had pneumonia for two weeks and he took care of me. My dad also teaches me music. He is

I love hanging with my friends. When my friend come over we like to be running around and playing sports. Most of the time we are playing
football, baseball, kickball, wiffleball, basketball or lemon. (Lemon is a game where you try to hit your opponent with a tennis ball.) Some of my
other hobbies are playing, listening, and dancing to music. I listen to a lot of rap. Some of my favorite rappers are Drake, Eminem, Lil Wayne, 50
Cent, Flo Rida. When I am not listen to rap I listen to The Police, Led Zeppelin, and the Beatles. One of my other favorite hobbies is playing, walking,

Educational Autobiography Essay
Miguel Huerta Period 1 September 8, 2010 Educational Autobiography A lot of people think education is just something you get in school, but in
reality education comes from different places and people not just school and teachers. For example, way before I started school I was already being
educated by my parents, they taught me how to eat, behave, use the bathroom, talk, and a lot of other things that help out in life. I started my
educational career in John F. Kennedy Elementary. I don't really remember my years there because I only went there for Kindergarten and 1st grade.
After that, I went to Sepulveda Elementary. That was a learning experience because I had to basically be on my own for a couple of days since I was

Sadly to say, I didn't really have a teacher in middle school that made a big impact in my life but I matured on my own and got my stuff together
and put my work first and girls second. When I graduated 8th grade I was so excited because I had accomplished something special but I knew
that wasn't the end but in fact a beginning to an even bigger obstacle, high school. I still remember on the day of graduation my mom went alone
because my dad was working and after I told her that this wasn't the last time she would see me walking down for a diploma because in couple more
years I would be doing it again. That was a big deal because she never graduated high school neither did my dad because my mom had me and they had
to care for me. Then finally I made it to high school. This was the place where everything I learned up to now would help me. My 9th grade year was
really good I met new friends that I still talk to, got good grades but other than that it was a normal year. When I went to 10th grade I was in AOF
(Academy of Finance) or Global. At first I was a little optimistic about being in it because I didn't really know a lot of people but I stayed because I
was a little curious about the whole business stuff going on in there. It was a good decision to stay because I really enjoy all the business related
work and I am looking forward to even having some sort of a business career later on in life. The teacher that really made an impact on me is the

I was born July 18, 2001 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. My mother had just recently turned 17 and my father was a 21 year old with two children
already. It was my fourth birthday when he walked out on me and my mom. At first he'd still come around and see me but eventually the visits got
shorter and further a part. Now I only see him twice a year, when he takes me to his family reunion and on my birthday, when he takes me to Kings
Dominion.
My mother had several scholarship offers but since she was a single parent who wasn't receiving much help she dropped out of school and started
working two jobs, McDonald's and Wal–Mart. Nothing fancy, but it kept the bills paid. She taught me how to read at 4 years old because she always
wanted me to be better than her and she said education is the key to success. When I started school I was bullied a lot. Mostly because of the clothes I

I had severe depression, anxiety, and I had an eating disorder. I was 11 years old when my mom first realized I was losing weight. I wasn't extremely
skinny but I was under what I should've been. She got me a lot of help and also found two great counselors who helped me learn how to handle my
depression and gain weight again. It was because of Dr. Martin and Dr. Rooney that I developed a bit of self confidence. Without their help I never
would have had enough confidence to get a boyfriend. I'm both thankful and resentful for that. I started dating Da'Shawn when I was 13 and he
was 16. I never told my mom because I knew she didn't want me dating until I was 16 and she wouldn't have approved of our age difference. But I
didn't care that he was older than me. I loved him and he loved me. I remember sitting on the hospital bed and crying uncontrollably while Bryan, my
best friend sat across from me with his head in his hands refusing to look at me. Six months. The doctor said I was Six months

Born in California and raised in the deep south, I grew up in two conflicting societies. The cultural geography of both areas differs on a magnitude of
levels and complicated my development into the cultures around me, however in retrospect influenced me to be a multidimensional and considerate
person. At a young age my parents introduced me to progressive values. During the developmental toddler stages, I immersed myself in two different
cultures: what I experienced at school and what I experienced at home. Charleston, South Carolina embodies small–town society though the Greater
Charleston Area expands rapidly each year, pulling migrants, including myfamily, to the growing city. The overwhelmingly conservative views of

Nevertheless, as we grew, my classmates and I no longer had the same attitude towards each other. These unaware toddlers, subliminally primed to
perceive the world around them as their parents regard as fit, discerned the social ranking of each person in the room. I existed as the lonely piece
in the puzzle box that didn't fit anywhere, an estranged visitor who misplaced herself into their little bubble of friends. I hardly received any
invitations to affairs, such as American Girl Doll parties and pool parties, as result of the monetary gap of what I could afford and the moral
differences between my family and that of my peers. My mom pushed me to ask if I could attend and suggested I bring one of my stuffed animals
instead, which of course came off as an atrocious idea to me at age 7. I did not desire the connotation that bringing a regular stuffed animal to a
party with girls who had hundred dollar dolls would cause. Sour and ungrateful feelings began to plague my head due to what I had, in comparison
to those around me, did not constitute enough. I only became increasingly alien to those around me as we all grew together and the separating factors
in our lives were no longer shallow material attributes as in what plantations a person's ancestors owned, how much money a person's family had, or
where a person had lived all their life. I could only imagine how unfathomable nonreligious views appear to those who have been

It all started when I came back from football practice and was watching T.V. I was 10 at the time, and I stumbled upon a channel where these
women modeled these remarkable masterpieces. It peaked my interest in creating similar fashion pieces. I scurried to my room and began
drawing. Subsequently, I dashed to show my parents what I created. I expected them to be proud and supportive of me, like they always do, but
this time their faces turned from smiles to complete confusion. They gasped and scolded at me. I never understood why they they were so mad.
Why would my number one supporters turn against me? I'm Xander. Alexander to be exact. I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with both of my
parents, my sister Sammy, and my dog Buster. I have bright blue eyes which, in fact, I got from my Dad. My rich dark brown hair I clearly got
from my Mom. I have been playing football ever since I could remember. I am currently the captain of Lauderdale High School's football team.
This is my last year until I go off to college to major in business. Another thing is when I was a kid I was incredibly creative and deeply attracted to
art. Although my Dad always pushed me to play football, ever since I was born, he was a firm believer in doing what you want to do. Plus, I was
naturally physically made for the job. Anyways, both of my parents have been very supportive of me, and so has my girlfriend, Zoe. The catch is if I

Career Autobiography
Throughout life, people are influenced by others when it comes to career paths. For example, career paths can be directed by our backgrounds such
as family and culture. The career path I chose has been influenced by family and those who support me and encourage me during school. The career
path, I have chosen is to work with women survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. I will discuss how self–assessments helped me gain an
understanding, which careers might be worth pursuing because of my interests.
I have always been encouraged by my family to volunteer to gain an understanding that experience is valuable, even if the work is unpaid. While
volunteering, it allowed me to see if I could handle dealing with trauma victims in hospital settings. I chose the major of psychology because I always
wanted to become a therapist and help those in difficult life situations. I knew that my family wanted me to feel rewarded and satisfied with the
career I choose and to not focus mainly on salary. My family always thought it was important to get a college education and a good career. They did
not attend school themselves and know the struggles of finding a job without the qualifications and education. The cultural influences that impacted my
decision was that my family can understand my career path. My family looks at counselors as important people in society and as a career worth

Although I am a freshman, UGA is not that foreign to me. My sister, Amanda, just recently graduated in May of 2015 with a double major in

Everywhere he went I followed, lead by his gentle hand guiding me along. Until he walked up into the sky and left me alone outside the gates.
2012 the world was supposed to end and fortunately that didn't happen; but mine came to a life changing stop. My dad passed away on August 31, 2012.
During a vacation my dad got sick and with what I never found out. I'm still left wondering what disease took him away. Left with bottled up angry and

My Academic Autobiography Thinking about college and your future career can be very overwhelming at the beginning. There's so much to consider
when it comes to getting ready for college: where to go and what to study. I've heard it said that sometimes a student will enter college fully aware of
what they want to do in life, and doggedly reach their undergraduate goal after four years of diligent study.
My college career didn't start off on the best footing. I was a dreadful student in high school, chronically absent, and not doing homework even when I
could be bothered to attend class. My Arlington, Virginia high school was competitive, and my...show more content...
After a year of this mediocre performance, the worst possible thing happened from the perspective of academic success: I fell in love with a
graduating senior. She was returning to her native Delaware on graduation, and with the finely honed reasoning that only eighteen year olds can
display, I decided the obvious response on my part was to drop out and go with her.
Rather than bore the faithful reader with the details, suffice it to say that over the course of the next ten years, while moving around the East Coast, I
amassed piecemeal credit from Shepherd College, Virginia Commonwealth University, Northern Virginia Community College, North Carolina
Wesleyan College, and Strayer University. Meanwhile, I had changed majors from Music Composition to Music Education to Communications before
finally becoming involved with information technology.
The '90s were a great time for technical people. No one cared about college degrees, as demand for competent labor was too high for employers to care
about anything other than ability. After the burst of the dot–com bubble, however, things changed completely. One of those changes was my attitude
toward completing my degree. Since the ads for jobs in my field had gone from saying "Associate degree preferred" to "Bachelor's degree required,
Master's preferred," it seemed that the time had come to finish what I had started. There

FOUR major things: (1) who you are in life (how would you describe your personality), (2) what life means to you, (3) what major life events or

start off with a lot of facts about your life; for example, when and where you were born, where you live (city and state), where you go to school and
who you live with. You have to give a lot of information so your reader can clearly understand what is going on. Once you have written this

which has had a significant impact on my upbringing. At the young age of eleven years old, I experienced one of the greatest tragedies of my life.
My brother was taken from me when he was struck by a vehicle and sustained injuries he could not recover from. It was this moment in my life where
I realized more than ever the importance of family. This was a very difficult and confusingtime for me, but with the strength of my family and the
Christian faith my family...show more content...
I was not able to get loans that would cover the full cost of my tuition so I had to start working at the Hancock County Sheriff's Office to cover the
extra cost. This created a hardship as I was going to school full time and commuting back and forth to work full time. I struggled to manage my time
appropriately and found myself more concerned about work than school. From here I chose to gain real work experience in the field of law
enforcement to get a feel for whether or not this was the career for

My Autobiography For College

  • 1. My Autobiography For College It was about 10:23 in the morning on a cold, January day when I was born at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Ever since I was little I loved bouncing balls and playing with things that made noise. When I got a little bit older my mom signed me up for baseball and basketball. After a couple of years I got good and now I play for the Michigan Rebels which is a baseball club and the Gull Lake Blue Devils Basketball. I also have many hobbies I love to do, and I have a great family. Ever since I was little I loved playing sports. My mom introduced me to to basketball at a young age. I played GLYBA for a couple of years, and then in fourth grade I joined a travel basketball team, called a the Gull Lake Blue Devils. When I was in second grade I played little league baseball. I played little league for many years, till I was in sixth grade. I tried out for the Michigan Rebels, and I made the team. I have six people in my family; my mom, dad, my brother sam, my dog Bella, and my brother's cat Gracie. My mom is a big part of my life. She takes me to most of my sporting events, she also takes me to my friends houses, and she helps me with school work, sometimes. My dad is also a big part of my life. He took care of me when I was sick. For example I had pneumonia for two weeks and he took care of me. My dad also teaches me music. He is ...show more content... I love hanging with my friends. When my friend come over we like to be running around and playing sports. Most of the time we are playing football, baseball, kickball, wiffleball, basketball or lemon. (Lemon is a game where you try to hit your opponent with a tennis ball.) Some of my other hobbies are playing, listening, and dancing to music. I listen to a lot of rap. Some of my favorite rappers are Drake, Eminem, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Flo Rida. When I am not listen to rap I listen to The Police, Led Zeppelin, and the Beatles. One of my other favorite hobbies is playing, walking, running with my dog, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Example Of Autobiography In College I was born in Dayton Ohio we lived there for a year I think then we moved to a different part of Ohio Greenville and from there we moved to Kentucky and then Pennsylvania and from there Washington then California then back to Washington. See as a kid growing up my dad was in the cable business we moved so much I never stayed at one school long enough to really make any friends, and it was me my older brother, and little brother, my little brother really got lucky because when it was time for him to start school we were settled. We lived in concrete Washington I started my fifth grade there and it was acutely really nice to have friends and be a kid. Then high school came my best friend and a lot of my friends were two grades ahead of me so...show more content... We loved living in Portland so much to do with the kids the Saturday market was my favorite. Then I picked up a flagging job I was so board out of my mind standing there holding a sigh and wondering if that car is going to stop or keep going and hit you needless to say that job was not for me . I got married at twenty three and was a house wife until both of my kids started school then I worked at a little store for about seven years then we moved to and I worked at a big department store it was fun for a while then drama happens managers are not happy so they take it out on the employees then then we feel un appreciated just a big cycle I began to hate that place I started putting applications out at other places. But I did get this one job that I really wanted until they asked for my high school diploma I was so excited to and I let myself down I knew I made bad choices but I can't dwell on the past I can only fix what's in my future and that's why I am here I want to better myself show my kids that if you work hard enough you can do Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Educational Autobiography Essay Miguel Huerta Period 1 September 8, 2010 Educational Autobiography A lot of people think education is just something you get in school, but in reality education comes from different places and people not just school and teachers. For example, way before I started school I was already being educated by my parents, they taught me how to eat, behave, use the bathroom, talk, and a lot of other things that help out in life. I started my educational career in John F. Kennedy Elementary. I don't really remember my years there because I only went there for Kindergarten and 1st grade. After that, I went to Sepulveda Elementary. That was a learning experience because I had to basically be on my own for a couple of days since I was the new...show more content... Sadly to say, I didn't really have a teacher in middle school that made a big impact in my life but I matured on my own and got my stuff together and put my work first and girls second. When I graduated 8th grade I was so excited because I had accomplished something special but I knew that wasn't the end but in fact a beginning to an even bigger obstacle, high school. I still remember on the day of graduation my mom went alone because my dad was working and after I told her that this wasn't the last time she would see me walking down for a diploma because in couple more years I would be doing it again. That was a big deal because she never graduated high school neither did my dad because my mom had me and they had to care for me. Then finally I made it to high school. This was the place where everything I learned up to now would help me. My 9th grade year was really good I met new friends that I still talk to, got good grades but other than that it was a normal year. When I went to 10th grade I was in AOF (Academy of Finance) or Global. At first I was a little optimistic about being in it because I didn't really know a lot of people but I stayed because I was a little curious about the whole business stuff going on in there. It was a good decision to stay because I really enjoy all the business related work and I am looking forward to even having some sort of a business career later on in life. The teacher that really made an impact on me is the teacher for whom I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Example Of Autobiography For College I was born July 18, 2001 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. My mother had just recently turned 17 and my father was a 21 year old with two children already. It was my fourth birthday when he walked out on me and my mom. At first he'd still come around and see me but eventually the visits got shorter and further a part. Now I only see him twice a year, when he takes me to his family reunion and on my birthday, when he takes me to Kings Dominion. My mother had several scholarship offers but since she was a single parent who wasn't receiving much help she dropped out of school and started working two jobs, McDonald's and Wal–Mart. Nothing fancy, but it kept the bills paid. She taught me how to read at 4 years old because she always wanted me to be better than her and she said education is the key to success. When I started school I was bullied a lot. Mostly because of the clothes I ...show more content... I had severe depression, anxiety, and I had an eating disorder. I was 11 years old when my mom first realized I was losing weight. I wasn't extremely skinny but I was under what I should've been. She got me a lot of help and also found two great counselors who helped me learn how to handle my depression and gain weight again. It was because of Dr. Martin and Dr. Rooney that I developed a bit of self confidence. Without their help I never would have had enough confidence to get a boyfriend. I'm both thankful and resentful for that. I started dating Da'Shawn when I was 13 and he was 16. I never told my mom because I knew she didn't want me dating until I was 16 and she wouldn't have approved of our age difference. But I didn't care that he was older than me. I loved him and he loved me. I remember sitting on the hospital bed and crying uncontrollably while Bryan, my best friend sat across from me with his head in his hands refusing to look at me. Six months. The doctor said I was Six months Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Cultural Autobiography Examples Born in California and raised in the deep south, I grew up in two conflicting societies. The cultural geography of both areas differs on a magnitude of levels and complicated my development into the cultures around me, however in retrospect influenced me to be a multidimensional and considerate person. At a young age my parents introduced me to progressive values. During the developmental toddler stages, I immersed myself in two different cultures: what I experienced at school and what I experienced at home. Charleston, South Carolina embodies small–town society though the Greater Charleston Area expands rapidly each year, pulling migrants, including myfamily, to the growing city. The overwhelmingly conservative views of Traditional Charleston...show more content... Nevertheless, as we grew, my classmates and I no longer had the same attitude towards each other. These unaware toddlers, subliminally primed to perceive the world around them as their parents regard as fit, discerned the social ranking of each person in the room. I existed as the lonely piece in the puzzle box that didn't fit anywhere, an estranged visitor who misplaced herself into their little bubble of friends. I hardly received any invitations to affairs, such as American Girl Doll parties and pool parties, as result of the monetary gap of what I could afford and the moral differences between my family and that of my peers. My mom pushed me to ask if I could attend and suggested I bring one of my stuffed animals instead, which of course came off as an atrocious idea to me at age 7. I did not desire the connotation that bringing a regular stuffed animal to a party with girls who had hundred dollar dolls would cause. Sour and ungrateful feelings began to plague my head due to what I had, in comparison to those around me, did not constitute enough. I only became increasingly alien to those around me as we all grew together and the separating factors in our lives were no longer shallow material attributes as in what plantations a person's ancestors owned, how much money a person's family had, or where a person had lived all their life. I could only imagine how unfathomable nonreligious views appear to those who have been Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Descriptive Autobiography It all started when I came back from football practice and was watching T.V. I was 10 at the time, and I stumbled upon a channel where these women modeled these remarkable masterpieces. It peaked my interest in creating similar fashion pieces. I scurried to my room and began drawing. Subsequently, I dashed to show my parents what I created. I expected them to be proud and supportive of me, like they always do, but this time their faces turned from smiles to complete confusion. They gasped and scolded at me. I never understood why they they were so mad. Why would my number one supporters turn against me? I'm Xander. Alexander to be exact. I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with both of my parents, my sister Sammy, and my dog Buster. I have bright blue eyes which, in fact, I got from my Dad. My rich dark brown hair I clearly got from my Mom. I have been playing football ever since I could remember. I am currently the captain of Lauderdale High School's football team. This is my last year until I go off to college to major in business. Another thing is when I was a kid I was incredibly creative and deeply attracted to art. Although my Dad always pushed me to play football, ever since I was born, he was a firm believer in doing what you want to do. Plus, I was naturally physically made for the job. Anyways, both of my parents have been very supportive of me, and so has my girlfriend, Zoe. The catch is if I told my family and Zoe that I want to major in arts, they would Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Examples Of Literacy Autobiography Literacy Autobiography I communicate in many different ways, whether it be visually, orally or electronically. There are a few instances that stand out. First, through the oral and electronic means of communication. During the summers I coach a youth baseball team and I communicate with the players and their parents in many different ways. At practices where I talk and work them how to do specific drills. At games I cheer them on and give them tips to succeed. But, since most of the kids are only eleven or twelve years old I have to communicate to the parents. I usually do this through email where I tell them about upcoming games and practices. I also provide them my cell phone number so they always have a good way to reach me. Without the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Example Of Career Autobiography Career Autobiography Throughout life, people are influenced by others when it comes to career paths. For example, career paths can be directed by our backgrounds such as family and culture. The career path I chose has been influenced by family and those who support me and encourage me during school. The career path, I have chosen is to work with women survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. I will discuss how self–assessments helped me gain an understanding, which careers might be worth pursuing because of my interests. I have always been encouraged by my family to volunteer to gain an understanding that experience is valuable, even if the work is unpaid. While volunteering, it allowed me to see if I could handle dealing with trauma victims in hospital settings. I chose the major of psychology because I always wanted to become a therapist and help those in difficult life situations. I knew that my family wanted me to feel rewarded and satisfied with the career I choose and to not focus mainly on salary. My family always thought it was important to get a college education and a good career. They did not attend school themselves and know the struggles of finding a job without the qualifications and education. My sister, Amanda, just recently graduated in May of 2015 with a double major in Biology and Psychology. Because I have had an older sibling here before me, it has allowed me to have a personal mentor in getting familiar with the campus and different activities going on here at UGA. So far, I love UGA and thecollege experience. Although, I do occasionally miss my mother's cooking and sleeping in my own bed. But before I came to UGA, I had lived my entire life in Woodstock, GA. As a started to get older, I played baseball and basketball. However, eventually baseball was getting to slow and started to bore me. Academic Autobiography Essay Galindo 1 Juan Galindo Professor Student Success September 9, 2013 My Academic Autobiography Thinking about college and your future career can be very overwhelming at the beginning. There's so much to consider when it comes to getting ready for college: where to go and what to study. I've heard it said that sometimes a student will enter college fully aware of what they want to do in life, and doggedly reach their undergraduate goal after four years of diligent study. My college career didn't start off on the best footing. I was a dreadful student in high school, chronically absent, and not doing homework even when I could be bothered to attend class. My Arlington, Virginia high school was competitive, and my...show more content... After a year of this mediocre performance, the worst possible thing happened from the perspective of academic success: I fell in love with a graduating senior. She was returning to her native Delaware on graduation, and with the finely honed reasoning that only eighteen year olds can display, I decided the obvious response on my part was to drop out and go with her. Rather than bore the faithful reader with the details, suffice it to say that over the course of the next ten years, while moving around the East Coast, I amassed piecemeal credit from Shepherd College, Virginia Commonwealth University, Northern Virginia Community College, North Carolina Wesleyan College, and Strayer University. Meanwhile, I had changed majors from Music Composition to Music Education to Communications before finally becoming involved with information technology. The '90s were a great time for technical people. No one cared about college degrees, as demand for competent labor was too high for employers to care about anything other than ability. After the burst of the dot–com bubble, however, things changed completely. One of those changes was my attitude toward completing my degree. Since the ads for jobs in my field had gone from saying "Associate degree preferred" to "Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred," it seemed that the time had come to finish what I had started. The most important thing is to BEGIN. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– When writing an autobiography, focus on FOUR major things: (1) who you are in life (how would you describe your personality), (2) what life means to you, (3) what major life events or critical issues have had an impact on your life, and (4) what your outlook on the future is. The first thing you do when writing an autobiography is start off with a lot of facts about your life; for example, when and where you were born, where you live (city and state), where you go to school and who you live with. You have to give a lot of information so your reader can clearly understand what is going on. Once you have written this introduction, you are ready to start your first paragraph of the autobiography. Who you are in life? The best way to start an autobiography is to state your name.
