Project: Research project undertaken to fulfill the requirement for the degree of BA
(ECONOMICS)
Title: Determinants of Commercial Banks Profitability in Botswana
Project description: the empirical study investigated the factors that determine
profitability of commercial banks in Botswana. The study was carried out by surveying
the financial statements of different commercial banks and macroeconomic variables and
computing financial ratios to find out determinants of commercial banks profitability.
The recommendations were made for banks management decision making and policy
objectives.
