Retention is everything…
The advertisement sells the message, it is
up to us whether we choose to retain it…
When we do… we decide if its GOOD or
BAD

BAD COMMERCIALS
I-COOL CHEWY
- It only caters to a market that is appealed by K-
Pop, thus retention is limited in number.
HANSEL: SNOW WHITE COMMERCIAL
- The graphics were bad and it looks like it was
only meant for 4-7 year old kids
NESTLE NIDO
- Using Kris Aquino for yet another commercial is
not too encouraging for most viewers given that
the reputation surrounding her isn’t too great.
GOOD COMMERCIALS
EMPERADOR LIGHT
- Retention is effective, I hear people singing the
jingle in a lot of places
- The commercial used a well-known actor, Ryan
Agoncillo to endorse the product.
MCDONALDS: HOORAY FOR TODAY
- Its encouraging, it makes a person who is
watching the commercial feel good.
- The jingle, cheesy as the punch line may be, you
still remember it throughout the day.
COCA-COLA: WHERE WILL HAPPINESS STRIKE
NEXT
- The heart-warming content immediately draws a person
to the commercial. Its retention is strong
- A company as big as Coca-Cola giving back to people
would also let you know what your money when youre
buying Coke can do.
- The musical scoring set the mood well
- And the commercial brought its premier word
“Happiness” to a whole new level.

BAD PRINT AD’S
CHAMPION LAUNDRY DETERGENT
- The brand was too small to see, if it were up on a
billboard, you will only see Susan Roces than the product
advertised.
GLOBE TATOO
- It’s too much to look at, it is a bit difficult to find
the “Tatoo” branding.
MINUTE MAID ORANGE
- It’s too simple, there should be something a little more for
me to think that this is more than just some fruit drink.
GOOD COMMERCIALS
SAN MIGUEL LIGHT
- The catch phrase is good and the beach people
made it appropriate.
- And the background colors and the water gives
a hint that San Miguel Light beer is cool and
great served cold.
SUN BROADBAND
- The things you need to know about this ad is
right on top.
- Simple and easy to remember
COCA-COLA
- No need for words, just plain objects doing the defining
for you..
- The message is clear: if you want coke, its five pesos
away.
