1. Just wanted to let you know you are
loved and appreciated.

2. Explicit memory is one of the two main types of
long-term human memory, the other of which is implicit
memory. Explicit memory is the
intentional recollection of factual
information, previous experiences, and concepts.
3. Explicit memory
• Explicit memory requires you to consciously recall information. For example, imagine ,
someone asks us, the capital of France is. To answer, we did likely access our memory
to find the correct answer: , Paris.
• Some tasks that require to use of explicit memory , include remembering what we
learned in our psychology class, recalling our phone number, identifying who the
current president is, writing a research paper.
4. There are two types of explicit
memory:
first one is episodic memory, and
second is semantic memory.
Episodic memory is concerned with
specific things or experiences that
have happened to us. Where as
Semantic memory involves facts and
general knowledge. This can range
from things like specific scientific
facts to larger, abstract concepts.
5. Long term memory , including of explecit memories , are made
over the corse of three steps:-
1 . Encoding - at this stage , your sense take information from
your environment and send it to your brain . from there the
information enters your memory
2 . storage - once a memory has been encoded , it’s ready to
be stored in your brain . In storage , memories can be
maintained for longer period of time
3 . Retrieval - it is the process of recalling information that’s
been encoded and stored as a memory . this usually
happens in response to retrieval cues , or this thing that
trigger you to search for a memory.
6. — It is something reffered to as
unconsious memory or automatic
memory. and we access your implicit
memory unconsicosly without enen thinking
about it.

7. 1. Priming
• is a memory technique where we expose ourselves to
influence and respond to the stimulus without even knowing
about it.
• When the presentation of priming sumulus changes the
response to subsequent test stimulus which are either
positively cause and increasing in speed or accuracy of
response to test stimulus
• OR negatively which can decrease in speed and accuracy of
response to a test stimulus and these positive and the
negative effects of priming are called positive priming and
negative priming
8. priming is of two types
Repetition Priming
• it refer to
improvements in
behavioural response
when stimuli are
repeatedly presented .
And improvement can
be measured in terms
of accuracy or reaction
time and over which
same stimuli is
repeated.
Conceptual Priming
• -it is based on
meaning of the
stimuli for example
furniture world
response you as a
chair table and many
other things
depending on our
mind set
9. Procedural Memory is a type of
intrinsic memory which help in
performance of particular type of task
without conscious awareness of their
previous experience. Procedural
memory e b the process we perform
and more frequently resides blow the
the level of conscious awareness. For
example riding a bike ok and cooking
omelette etc
