committees.
 Control the quality of the portfolio, using available triggers and adherence to Risk management
guidelines and policies
 Analysis of financial statements, assessment of credit requirements, preparation of proposals for
sanction and presentation to various sanctioning authorities and obtain sanctions in lesser TAT.
 Completion of post sanctions activities like documentation, security creation, limit set up and
disbursement at fast TAT.
 Monitor credit risks in the portfolio through regular customer contacts, client visits, market
feedback, covenant compliance and security documentation.
 Monitoring of existing accounts for conduct, end use, credit summation, timely payments &
recovery of interest / installments, review, covenants compliance plant visit, renewal &
modification of credit facilities in line with business requirements of the borrower.
 Ensuring healthy asset portfolio, identifying early warning signals and taking corrective measures,
follow up and recovery of over dues and initiating appropriate recovery measures like personal
contacts, CDR, DRT and legal methods like filing money and mortgage suits, filing EP and recovery
through SARFAESI Act etc.
 Identify opportunities with existing customers and solicit new relationships. Research, create and
follow up a target list for potential new business.
 Resource mobilisation through corporate deposits – guiding team member for coordination
between treasury, operations and clients for building a strong liquidity portfolio.
 Manage customer complaints and address these to mutual satisfaction of customer and the Bank.
Trade Finance Sales and Operations
 Heading a team that sources the business of Letter of Credit (Issuance / Advising / Confirmation /
Negotiation), Bank Guarantee, Other Trade Credits, Remittances, Buyers Credit and Suppliers
Credit etc.
 Understanding the nature of business, identify business opportunities and offer the appropriate
trade products to corporate and MNC clients.
 Overseeing end to end trade finance operations for the branch – Document checking, LC / BG
issuance and amendments, remittances etc and liaise with centralized operations teams to handle
the transactions within specified TAT for various products / clients.
 Possess sound knowledge of FEMA, RBI and ICC guidelines, SWIFT, Inco-Terms 2000, 2010, UCP
600, ISBP 98, URDG 758, URC 522, URR 725 etc and managing diverse initiatives such as process
refinements, expenses reduction etc on an ongoing basis and staying up to date with domestic and
international trade guidelines and regulations.
 Management of trade portfolio including buyer’s credit, export bill discounting, trust receipts.
Profit Center Operations
 Establishing short / long term budgets in tune with the Bank strategies for achieving business
targets.
 Business planning, forecasting and analysis for assessment of revenue potential in business
opportunities.
 Containing and managing the operating expenses and showing the targeted level of productivity,
profitability and house keeping.
