I.PROFILE
I have over 25 years of work experience with 20 years of experience in the hospitality sector. I
am a dynamic hospitality leader having experience of working with an international hotel group
on key management positions. Over the span of my career I have been able to strengthen my
management and administrative skills by leading various teams both in hospitality and other
sectors in order to meet organizational goals. Having moved to Canada recently, I intend to take
up a position where I can bring into practice my interpersonal skills and experience to support

III. WORK EXPERIENCE
A. April 2014 to January 2016
Worked with Aziz Group of Industries and was in charge of all operational activities of Mohsin
Enterprises as General Manager. I also assisted Senator Mohsin Aziz (group Chairman) in day to
day work in Senate of Pakistan.
B. April 2010 to March 2014
As part of the prestigious Hashoo Group of Companies of Pakistan, worked as General Manager
of Pearl Continental Hotel Peshawar (April 2010 to March 2014) and Pearl Continental Hotel
Muzaffarabad (January 2007 to September 2010). I was responsible for managing all the
functions of the hotel. Details of responsibilities include but are not limited to:
2. 1. Strategic and Operational Planning
a. Provided technical input to the team of advisors in developing the long term business and
strategic plan of the hotel.
b. Developed annual objectives and goals for the key functions of the hotel and monitored their
achievement through monthly reporting from the respective managers.
c. Supervised and provided technical assistance to the departmental managers in developing
their work plans and milestones for meeting the annual goals.
d. On an annual basis reported progress on short term and long term goals to the senior
management and the board of Hashoo Group.
e. Monitored and presented future trends, practices and systems in the hotel industry. Also
introduced and executed competitive programs.
f. Developed recognition programs, advertising & promotional campaigns to obtain greatest
market awareness and patronage in consultation with corporate marketing.
g. Made recommendations to the senior management and board regarding policy changes.

C. 2001 to 2002
As part of Hashoo Group Pakistan worked as Director of Food and Beverage (F&B) Pearl
Continental Hotel Peshawar.
I was responsible for the entire operations of the Food & Beverage division including handling
of PIA International & Aero Asia flights catering at its large. Furthermore I had to keep the
Restaurant business at its best and to meet the budgeted figures. In order to generate food
revenue targets, I launched different food promotion, organized fashion shows, concerts, children
shows and many other activities. I was also responsible for the training of the entire F & B staff,
developed training plans for individual and groups, after conducting training needs assessment.
Carried out operational activities in the allocated budget by minimizing expenses.
D. 1996 to 2001

Worked as Lu’s Taek wondo Manager, Ottawa, Canada.
Managed day to day operations of the School and instructed six classes per week. Organized
various championship tournaments and self-defense seminars.
G. 1989 to 1993
Worked as Executive Vice President Canadian Taekwondo Federation International, Ottawa,
Canada.
Acted on behalf of the President, regulating International Taekwondo (ITF) rules and regulations
across Canada, collecting yearly dues, issuing operating licenses to all the Clubs and working as
Liaison Officer and Treasurer with the National Secretary.
H. 1986 to 1990
Worked as Manager, Rill Food, Ottawa, Canada
Managed bars, restaurant dining lounges and snack shops for the operating capacity of up to 400
customers responsible for hiring staff for various fields of operations and providing them with
required training. Making sure employees follow company procedures. Guiding Chefs in making
menus for banquets and restaurants. Bi- weekly payroll, food and beverage inventories, budget
forecasting.
I. 1980 to 1986
Worked as Manager, C.V.S. Food System, Ottawa, Canada
I was responsible for flight kitchen, restaurant and bars at Ottawa International Airport. This
essentially entailed scheduling employees, ensuring efficient operation of restaurant and bars,
maintaining and keeping for stock supplies current. Ensured that employees followed company
polices and provided direction during emergencies.
J. 1979 to 1980
Worked as Sales and Marketing Representative, Transco Travel Ltd, Ottawa, Canada.
I was in charge of booking reservation for customers, arranging tours and day to day services. I
was also involved in public relations and customers services. Promoted sales and introduced new
ideas to the company.
