• Monday and Tuesday afternoons all 3 classes move round PE, ICTand Art lessons
**please note children will sometimes do Art in their PE kits so if any PE kit gets a bit
messy wewill send them home more frequently!

• Follow instructions provided in Reading Record. Specific pages to read – please do not read
ahead.

• Please name everything! (e.g. clothing, snackboxes, lunchboxes, water bottles)
• PE
• All classes have PE twice a week
• Monday and/or Tuesday plus onemore if required
• PE kit

• Gym shoes can be used as indoor shoes
• Water bottles – plain water only in class(juice only for packed
lunch)
• Snack– please provide only one snackthat canbe eaten outside
(we would encourage a healthy snack)

• Returnevery day – main tool for communication
• Readingbooks and Reading Records, homework and letters for parents will be

theirown book bags for letters, forms, etc.

Weekly Overview –Term 1 • Literacy Rich phonicsprogramme x 4 • Reading x 4 • Big Writing • Numeracy/Maths x 5 • Monday and Tuesday afternoons all 3 classes move round PE, ICTand Art lessons **please note children will sometimes do Art in their PE kits so if any PE kit gets a bit messy wewill send them home more frequently! • Topic – Interdisciplinary Learning • R.M.E • Circle time • Assembly, Thursday mornings • GoldenTime on Friday as a reward for positive behaviour

  • 9. Homework Weeklysheet(given out on Wednesdays – does not needto be returned) • Literacy -new sounds/spelling rules & common words. Bankof suggested activities will be provided for practise at home. • Numeracy – activities/games to support learning in class. Reading • Follow instructions provided in Reading Record. Specific pages to read – please do not read ahead. Littleand often If any questions, please ask!

(e.g. clothing, snackboxes, lunchboxes, water bottles) • PE • All classes have PE twice a week • Monday and/or Tuesday plus onemore if required • PE kit • Please provideboth indoor and outdoor kit • All named! • Gym shoes can be used as indoor shoes • Water bottles – plain water only in class(juice only for packed lunch) • Snack– please provide only one snackthat canbe eaten outside (we would encourage a healthy snack)

Communicationbetweenhome andschool • Plasticfolders in green book bags • Returnevery day – main tool for communication • Readingbooks and Reading Records, homework and letters for parents will be placed in here • Pleasedo not use the book bags for snacks or water bottles – theseare for school books and communicationonly • Childrenwillbegin takingresponsibility for checking theirown book bags for letters, forms, etc.

Communicationbetweenhome and school If you need to speak to a teacher • Speak to us at theend of the day • Puta note in your child’s book bag • If urgent, speak to the officestaff who will pass on themessage • Termly overviews will besent home and put on thewebsite at thebeginningof each term We are very happy to speak to you if you have a query or concern, so we can resolve it and prevent any worry.
