Word can look complicated.
There are many hidden
tricks and shortcuts that
make text editing easier.
Here are some tips I
think will help you when
you are using Microsoft
Word.
3. Tip 1
Set columns for your content.
Word can create automatic columns that will format the content that y
ou add. You have several options when it comes to adding columns to
your document.
To access the Column tools, click the Page Layout tab. In the Page Set
up section, click the Columns button.
4. Tip 2
Write anywhere on a Page
Just double click a location on a page and start
typing!
Please note: Your page layout must be in one column.
5. Tip 4
Quickly Insert ‘Random’ Dummy Text
Type “=rand(p, s)” and press Enter.
The number you pick for p = the amount of paragraphs
The number you pick for s = the amount of sentences in the paragraph
For Example: If we write this as “=rand(2, 3)” then the results will be shown as
6. Tip 5
Switch between uppercase and lowercase
For this propose, select the text you want to change and
press Shift+F3
7. Tip 6
Select any Shape Of Text
Hold ALT and left-click and drag with the mouse to select any
shape of the text. You now have the text selected and you can,
for instance , do formatting on it.
8. Tip 7
Remove Text Formatting
Select the text , and press Ctrl+Space to remove the formatting
on the selected text.
