2. Scene one
Lighting : Dark, this implies
something devious is going
on and that there is evil in
the scene.
Editing : Slow pan of the
camera, no sudden fast
movements, this would make
this scene an establishing shot.
We can see oddly dressed
figures and a planet in the
background. This signifies it is a
sci fi film.
Sound : We can hear a
deep voice talking,
which is most likely the
character on screen.
This means this is
diegetic sound. There
is also background
music being played in
a minor tone implying
evil.

3. Lighting : Dark, this
implies something
devious is going on
and that there is evil in
the scene. The only
light is a cube that is
glowing blue implying
that this cube has a lot
to do with the plot.
Editing : the camera is still while
the cube moves slowly through
what seems to be space, there is no
abrupt cut outs or ins, just fade ins
and outs. This means the editing is
slow paced.
Sound : We can hear a
deep voice talking, which
is most likely the
character on screen. This
means this is diegetic
sound. There is also
background music being
played in a minor tone
implying evil. There is
also shouting in the
background, which makes
it sound a bit satanic.
Scene two

4. Lighting: Dark, nothing
visible except mountains in
the distance and a
helicopter.
Editing : It quickly cuts into the
helicopter after the slow shots in
space (Graphic Match).
Sound : We can hear non
diegetic background music,
which is high pitched and fast
indicating something is
happening, and also we can
hear diegetic sound. The
sound of the helicopter
passing by.
Scene three

5. Scene Four
Lighting : Still dark, but now
there is a bit more light as we
can see the SHIELD base. This
signifies that something is
going to happen (The sudden
change in lighting).
Editing: The pan becomes a bit
faster, this is now an
establishing shot of the SHIELD
base.
Sound : There is new non diegetic
sound, the SHIELD theme is played to
introduce SHIELD and to show
something is going to happen.

6. Scene Five
Lighting : Still a bit
dark, but there is
more and more light
in every next scene,
indicating actions are
being taken.
Editing : Editing
becomes faster, match
on action’s, close ups,
medium close ups,
medium longshots.
Suddenly there is a lot
of activity
Sound : the SHIELD
theme is still playing.
And we can hear
diegetic sound from
the characters
footsteps and them
talking in-between
each other.
