Staalbankiers This is a private bank with a small but very exclusive clientele, less than 2000 customers. I
worked there for 10 years and held three distinct roles.
1. Marketing: As part of the marketing department I was responsible for internal communications, marketing
campaigns and managed several projects.
Achievements: Developed and implemented (included testing, training) a CRM-system and an intranet and
knowledge sharing network
2. Managing secretary’s responsibility was to act as PA for the Board of Directors of the Achmea Banking
Services Centre and managed 6 departmental PA’s.
Achievements: I successfully managed the project to implement a new hot-desk environment. I headed a
workgroup to design and implement the new company identification and formalize the internal
communications processes.
3. Personal Assistant to the director of Business Banking and director of Private Banking.
Responsibilities/Achievements: Liaising for private visits for VIP clientele; Carried out marketing
campaigns before there was a marketing department; VIP and company event management
Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Directorate General of International Development Cooperation
(DGIS)
As Secretary to the International Biotechnology Program my responsibilities were to set
up and manage an international multilateral secretariat, act as liaison between donor state
biotech officials and process financial aid applications from developing countries. Responsible
for management, and answering of departmental parliamentary questions on the topic.
Achievements: Developing testing and implementing a tracking and administration system for
the management of the applications.

Other employers / roles and achievements were:
• Ministry of Defense, Service Centre for Automation of Weapon and Command systems. As temporary
secretary to the Director I identified a problem of lost and disappearing paperwork and successfully
developed and implemented a tracking system for mail and internal documents
• Unicef, as secretary to the manager of the Customer Relations department. I was confronted with a
polarized workplace. I helped solve a relationship problem between staff and manager of this department.
I achieved a better mutual understanding of roles and responsibilities and turned it into a situation where
people respected each other and could work together.
• KNVTO (Royal Dutch National Transport Organization), I held two roles:
1. As secretary to the IT department and Customer Relations department; I trained the employees of this
organization to operate and function with computers
2. As secretary to the Legal department I learned the importance of verbatim reporting on legal issues.
• Ministry of Economic Affairs; PA to the Minister: I transcribed the annual policy / budget paper that
was to be read by the Queen at the opening of Parliament. Responsible for management, and answering of
departmental parliamentary questions.
• Justice Department. Temporary secretary to the Europol Liaisons Officer
• Nutsspaarbank: One of the main Dutch Retail banks.
Achievements
1. I concluded Retail Banking I and II, Money Market and Financing / Mortgages modules while I worked
full time.
2. I started as a trainee teller and when I left I was one of the youngest deputy branch managers in the
history of that bank, responsible for all client transactions and making days-end cash reports.
3. When I was the attending branch manager, my branch was subject to a robbery. A client was held at
knife point and I had the presence of mind to deflect the perpetrator and got him arrested.

EXPERIENCE NZ (LAST 10 YEARS)
Roqu Ltd.: Owner and manager of a lifestyle business. This involved managing crops and live stock, financially
managing the business; investing in and expanding the business and developing the market. I negotiated and
managed contracts and managed up to 4 employees.
Achievements: I learned to manage my own business in every aspect being an employer instead of an
employee for the first time and learning everything that is necessary that goes with that responsibility. I
achieved a new style of living, closer to nature, for my family of city dwellers. After one year we sat down to
dinner one night and realized that everything that was on the table was produced on our farm.
Tango Argentino: Event Manager, Fundraising, Marketing and PR. This dance is so much a passion that I
have become a teacher and organizer, locally and nationally. I organize Tango classes and events in Wellington
and am volunteering for the NZ Tango Festival Charitable Trust as Marketing, PR and fundraising officer;
Achievements:
● I’ve successfully raised contributions from public and private partners for the Festival. I successfully
organize a program of free events annually to bring Tango to the wider public. Participation numbers of
this event is growing annually exponentially.
● I have organized press coverage in the form of editorials in newspapers and radio coverage and set up and
maintained websites.
● I created a collaborative initiative (Tango Collab) to enhance cohesion between tango organizers and
teachers to help develop and improve dancing and teaching skills in New Zealand.
