CAREER HISTORY
October 2014 – Present TTS Group Ltd

countries, the largest of which are based in Denmark, Italy and Poland.
I am responsible for negotiating the placement of educational resources for
Kindergartens and Primary schools within customer school supply catalogues,
websites and web-shops.
My role involves regular face to face meetings with distributors at their
premises, product demonstrations, advising on product selection, pricing,
negotiating prime product positioning, providing quotations for Ministry of
Education tenders and developing additional marketing opportunities and
support.
Preparation for my customer meetings would include the planning and
preparing of customer specific objectives with a detailed agenda and key
question for moving the account forward.
This would be followed by detailed follow up notes capturing the meeting
objectives and the agreed actions required from both parties’ post meeting.
In addition to customer visits I meet with key personnel from the various
Departments of International trade and provide product demonstrations for
policy makers and procurement officers for each countries Ministry of
Education.
I am responsible for my own diary and time management. I plan and arrange
my own travel and accommodation including flights, hotels and hire cars.
.
April 2009 –September 2014 TTS Group Ltd
Early Years Exhibition and Conference Co-ordinator:
This was a continuously evolving role and I was heavily involved in the
development of the overall responsibilities of the position before moving to
European sales.
I managed the Early Years event budget and was responsible for the return
on investment.
My responsibility was to research all the key educational conference and
exhibitions opportunities within the UK Early Years sector, to negotiate costs,
plan the conference product displays, set in place specific goals and
objectives for each event and manage the stand.
The main aim of these events was to ensure that TTS remained at the
forefront of innovation in education through meeting with teachers and key
people within the education industry.
I demonstrated and discussed new product for Early Years and ICT
highlighting the features, benefits and matching them with teaching
requirements,
I was also tasked with identifying direct marketing opportunities, providing new
product ideas for the product managers and feeding back sales opportunities
to the direct sales team.
I had a very good working relationship with the product managers from other
departments and was often called upon to cover events for other divisions.
I organised my own diary, travel and accommodation as well as the
accommodation for team members attending the events. I also managed
stand rotas, transport of equipment and stand builds.
August 2008 – April 2009 Self Employed
Business Development Manager.
I was responsible for recruiting, coaching and supporting a team of Kleeneze
distributors and Business Managers throughout the UK.
I organised meetings, delivered training, booked travel and accommodation
for company conferences and business seminars.
As well as providing coaching on the fundamental skills required to develop
and maintain a successful Kleeneze retail customer base, I also work closely
with team members developing a range of essential key skills such as
effective time management, planning, communication, personal development
and goal setting.
April 1999 – July 2008 First Class Ltd

Using questioning skills, I identified customers teaching requirements,
matching them to the appropriate products.
I demonstrated and sold a full range of educational resources, showing the
features and benefits of the product to key decision makers in Nurseries,
Primary and Secondary Schools and closing the sale at each appointment.
Identifying and building relationships with key people within schools and
LEA’s who would be involved in the decision-making process.
Revisiting existing customers with new products, whilst also looking for new
sales opportunities and opening new business accounts.
I organised my own diary, appointments and work load.
I provided a high level of ongoing customer support and service.
Previous career summary:
My previous employment has been varied having started my working life as
an electronics technician before moving into business to business sales.
I have sold advertising space for newspapers, business directories and trade
publications before moving into the security industry selling a range of CCTV
