4. Artificial Intelligence
What is AI?
the theory and development of computer
systems able to perform tasks normally
requiring human intelligence, such as visual
perception, speech recognition, decision-
making, and translation between languages.
5. John McCarthy the
founder of the discipline of Artificial
Intelligence
John McCarthy is one of the "founding
fathers" of artificial intelligence, together with
Marvin Minsky, Allen Newell and Herbert A.
Simon. McCarthy coined the term "artificial
intelligence" in 1955, and organized the
famous Dartmouth Conference in Summer
1956. This conference started AI as a field.
6. Evolution of AI
Artificial Intelligence — Human Intelligence Exhibited by Machines
On ’56 conference the AI pioneers was to construct complex machines that possessed the same characteristics
of human intelligence. This is the concept we think of as “General AI” — fabulous machines that have all our
senses. “Narrow AI” — technologies that are able to perform specific tasks as well as, or better than, we
humans can. The development of “Super AI” — will probably mark the pinnacle of AI research.
7. Machine Learning — An Approach to Achieve Artificial Intelligence
Machine learning at its most basic is the practice of using algorithms to parse
data, learn from it, and then make a determination or prediction about
something in the world.
Deep Learning — A Technique for Implementing Machine Learning
Another algorithmic approach from the early machine-learning crowd, artificial
neural networks, came and mostly went over the decades.
Picking images of cats out of YouTube videos was one of the first breakthrough
demonstrations of deep learning.
Detect spam message on email using machine learning
Analyzing object on video using deep learning

13. Self Driving Car
A self-driving car, also known as an autonomous vehicle, connected and autonomous vehicle,
driverless car or robotic car, is a vehicle that is capable of sensing its environment and moving
safely with little or no human input.
Self Driving Cars are capable of
• Navigate on Autopilot
• Auto park
• Auto Lane Change
• Summon

14. Computer Vision
The science of allowing computers to see. This technology captures and analyzes visual information using a
camera, analog-to-digital conversion and digital signal processing. It is often compared to human eyesight,
but machine vision isn't bound by biology and can be programmed to see through walls, for example. It is
used in a range of applications from signature identification to medical image analysis. Computer vision,
which is focused on machine-based image processing, is often conflated with computer vision.
Many social network like Facebook, Instagram, pinterest uses computer vision.

15. SOPHIA, AI ROBOT
The robot was built to mimic social behaviors
and inspire feelings of love and compassion in
humans.
Deep neural networks let the robot discern
someone's emotions from their tone of voice
and facial expression and react in kind. Sophia
also can mirror people's postures, and her
code generates realistic facial movements.
Sophia has own emotions too, roughly
simulating human evolutionary psychology
and various regions of the brain.
