This is power point presentation is about Artificial intelligence.
It contains a lot of good stuff which helps you to get a good score and make your boss happy.
It also contains a short video on Sophia.
This presentation has good effects.
-Thank you
2. WHAT IS ARTIFICIAL
INTELLIGENCE?
THE THEORY AND DEVELOPMENT OF COMPUTER SYSTEMS ABLE TO
PERFORM TASKS NORMALLY REQUIRING HUMAN INTELLIGENCE, SUCH
AS VISUAL PERCEPTION, SPEECH RECOGNITION, DECISION-MAKING,
AND TRANSLATION BETWEEN LANGUAGES.
3. • IN COMPUTER SCIENCE AI RESEARCH IS DEFINED AS THE STUDY OF
"INTELLIGENT AGENTS": ANY DEVICE THAT PERCEIVES ITS
ENVIRONMENT AND TAKES ACTIONS THAT MAXIMIZE ITS CHANCE OF
SUCCESSFULLY ACHIEVING ITS GOALS.
• COLLOQUIALLY, THE TERM "ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE" IS APPLIED WHEN
A MACHINE MIMICS "COGNITIVE" FUNCTIONS THAT HUMANS
ASSOCIATE WITH OTHER HUMAN MINDS, SUCH AS "LEARNING" AND
"PROBLEM SOLVING"
4. WHO WAS THE FOUNDER
OF ARTIFICIAL
INTELLIGENCE?
John McCarthy is one of the
"founding fathers" of artificial
intelligence, together with Marvin
Minsky, Allen Newell and Herbert A.
Simon. McCarthy coined the term
"artificial intelligence" in 1955, and
organized the famous Dartmouth
Conference in Summer 1956. This
conference started AI as a field.

Over the years AI is getting
exponentially more sophisticated
Now AI’s are able react with an
“intelligence” that simulates the
computer as a human
AI’s are able to respond to voice
commands
10. FUTURE OF AI
The future is really unknown
Researchers seem to disagree on a lot of the same issue
With the rate at which technology is improving it is logical to
believe AI will continue to get more and more sophisticated
11. Two sides of AI
Good or Bad
What do you think?
As every coin have two side AI also have two sides “Good and Bad”.It might be
dangerous for our life and future or it might be helpful for us in today’s world and future
world. It might vanish humanity from earth or it might gave us a new life.
There are so much controversies in world on Artificial Intelligece. There are scientists who
are against AI and who are in favour of Artificial Intelligence.
As one of the most famous Prof Stephen Hawking, one of Britain's pre-eminent scientists, has
said that efforts to create thinking machines pose a threat to our very existence.
12. Robotics
What are Robots?
Robots are the artificial agents acting in real world environment.
Objective
Robots are aimed at manipulating the objects by perceiving, picking, moving,
modifying the physical properties of object, destroying it, or to have an effect thereby
freeing manpower from doing repetitive functions without getting bored, distracted,
or exhausted.
What is Robotics?
Robotics is a branch of AI, which is composed of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, and Computer Science for designing, construction, and application of
robots.
13. SOPHIA
Sophia is a social humanoid robot developed
by Hong Kong-based company Hanson Robotics.
Sophia was activated on April 19, 2015 and made
first public appearance at South by Southwest
Festival (SXSW) in mid-March 2016 in Austin, Texas,
United States. She is able to display more than 62
facial expressions.
In October 2017, the robot became a Saudi
Arabian citizen, the first robot to receive citizenship
of any country. In November 2017, Sophia was
named the United Nations Development
Programme's first ever Innovation Champion, and
first non-human to be given any United Nations

15. War of Assistants
In today’s world every company wants that user uses assistant
made by the company. Some of the examples are
Google – Google Assistant
Apple – Siri
Microsoft – Cortana
Samsung – Bixby
These all assistants are the wonder of “Artificial Intelligence”.
16. Facebook Controversies
Way back in June, Facebook had been experimenting with bots
that negotiated with each other over the ownership of virtual
items.
The language used by chatbots
Bob: "I can can I I everything else"
Alice: "Balls have zero to me to me to me to me to me to me
to me to me to“
Later the research program was shut down by Facebook.
