1. Career Highlights
2011 – Caldive: Hyperbaric Rescue Chamber (HRC) Custom Flange (ASME PVHO)
A project in which I had to accommodate two different hyperbaric chambers by using one
flange adaptor. I designed the flange to be suitable for human occupancy, reviewed and
hydrotested to ensure compliance with code and operational requirements
2012 – RocOil: Blow Out Preventer (BOP) Support Frame (DNV)
This was an urgent requirement where I designed a 7T DNV lifting frame to accommodate a
BOP unit prior to being sent offshore.
2013 – PAME: Custom Generator Lifting Frame (DNV)
Designed (inhouse), fabricated and tested to DNV, this offshore lifting frame is self-bunded
and accommodates PAME’s 120KW generator unit for use offshore.
2014 – BHI: Gorgon Trials - Fabrication of 34” DNV Spools (ASME)
In order to qualify operational procedures, PAME assisted BHI in assembly, fabrication, and
testing of 34” DNV grade pipe within BHI’s Welshpool facilities.
2015 – Transfield Worley - GWF Phase 1 – FJC Risers (Offshore)
Part of the only team in Australia qualified to complete field joint coating on a vertical riser
offshore on Woodside’s GWF platform. A hand’s on campaign where I am one of three
applicators (in a shift) to apply this heat shrink sleeve/coating.
2016 – BHI: Fabrication of 42” PIG Launcher & Depressurisation Assembly (ASME)
I tendered and won the award on fabrication of x2 42” PIG Launchers/Receivers and 42”
Depressurisation Assembly, part of BHI’s campaign for the Icthys project. All work including
3rd party testing and painting was done at PAME’s workshop.
2017 – MITE/UGL: Fabrication of Fuel Filter Spools (ASME/AS)
One of PAME’s long term client, MITE, I tendered and won the award for the fabrication of
spools for an upgraded diesel system by UGL. All work was completed at PAME and trial fitted
to eliminate assembly risk when delivered onsite.
2018 – Subsea 7: Sole Project (64km subsea pipeline) (DNV)
Based on prior works with Subsea 7, PAME was awarded the Onshore scope for Sole Project
(60% of overall project scope) due to our mobile spoolbase capability. While managing the
day to day projects in Perth, I was also stationed in Crib Point managing pipes, to ensure
specific type & length of pipes are being used in the production line. PAME completed the
works 14 days ahead of schedule, on budget with only 1% repair rate.
2019 – Shell: Fabrication of 2T Offshore Baskets x 27 OFF (DNV)
Proving that Australian services can still compete with Asia, PAME was awarded the
fabrication of x27 Offshore Baskets to support the Prelude LNG Rigging requirements.
PAME’s scope includes design (FEA), fabrication, testing and surface treatment.
