modifications, including production of all deliverable drawings & documents.
 Carrying out onshore / offshore site surveys to identify extents of work areas,
using both manual techniques and Leica TS06 laser survey equipment.

for mechanical & electrical decommissioning works. Client review / co-ordination
meetings and compilation of close-out dossiers for the Shell Inde Field
Decommissioning Project.

 CAD work carried out mostly using Autocad 2012 and some Microstation V8.

Alpha Platform. Existing turbines re-cabled to new control system. Production of cable

redundant cable removal and advising installation team.

Agip Tiffany Project. Worked on production of loop diagrams for DCS system for all
process, ESD and HVAC instrumentation on offshore oil platform. Most drawings were
done manually but some were produced using Dragon CAD system.

BP Miller Project. Responsible for production and updating of instrumentation drawings
using Cadds 4X. This includes setting out and drawing of loop diagram configurations or
auto-generation by computer. Updating cable termination indexes and generation of
drawings.

Specification and purchase of Autocad (Release 9) system for Libyan client. Conducted
two week training course for local staff at their offices in Tripoli. Production of
Instrumentation/Electrical drawings for pumping and metering stations in the Middle
East.
1984 - 1988
Production of Instrumentation/Electrical drawings and P&IDs for various oil facilities in
the Middle East and Libya. Responsible for purchasing and setting up of three PC
based Autocad stations plus plotter and training of two operators. This involved
compiling disciplines, teaching and answering operator queries.
1981 - 1984
Resident in the Middle East. Responsible for instrumentation drawings and
documentation associated with 74 unmanned offshore wellhead platforms. Offshore
survey and production of ‘as built’ telecommunications drawings for the main satellite
platforms.
1978 - 1981
Production of layouts and drawings for instrumentation design on offshore oil production
plants. Taking off relevant information to produce instrument schedules.
