WORK EXPERIENCE
Area Relief Security Officer
G4S Secure Solutions Ltd – Somerset Place, Bath – December 2014 to Present Day
My role within G4S Secure Solutions is as a Security Officer. I am currently on assignment working within the
Bath and Wiltshire Area. At the moment I am a Security Officer for a Housing Restoration site in the
Lansdown region in Bath (Somerset Place).
My duties include:
• Front line Security Guarding
• Providing first point of call customer service on site to the residents and general members of public
• Escorting visitors/VIPs when required to do so
• Internal and External patrols on site paying attention to any vulnerable points on site.
• Equipment security for onsite building contractors
• Asset and Building Security
• Area relief when required
Within this role I am qualified for Front Line Static Security Guarding and Qualified in Conflict Management
at a basic level.
Asset & Inventory Manager
Capita Resourcing – DE&S MoD Abbeywood – Bristol – August 2013 to March 2014
Employed by Capita on behalf of DE&S MoD Abbeywood I work on the PMT team. My role consists of being
the Asset & Inventory Manager for the Protected Mobility Programme which looks after the armoured vehicle
out on operations and within the UK. Within this I help control the Task Issue Procedure for the Urgent
Spares Requirements that are required. This starts from when i receive the demand and follow it all the way
through the Supply Chain process to the customer. I look after 13 different vehicle platforms. I also deal with
all the transport booking requests that require the vehicles to be moved by other Logistical means, so
booking through a central haulage booking system. I follow this from when i make the application all the way
through to delivery and then obtain the estimated Costings for the financial teams here at PMT. Another
main part of my role is dealing with the migration of the vehicle data being transferred from Asset
management systems. Working with Task Issues I am constantly working along all the vehicle platforms
2. making sure that their requirements for moving consumables or repairable items to specific places. This
means working closely with Bicester & Donnington (VITAL, SS3 & GLOBAL) and other outside Industrial
Suppliers making sure that there is sufficient stock to satisfy demand (Earmarking) when needed. Also a big
part of my Asset Management role is taking care of the Merlin to James Migration; this is where all the
vehicles are tracked using JAMES (Joint Asset Management & Engineering Solution) and MERLIN prior to
the system being switched off. Using these two systems I can track where new platforms have been birthed
into the field, and therefore issue to depot, unit or industry.
Authority Storeman
Aspire Defence Services Ltd - Bulford - December 2012 to March 2013
My role within this company is an Authority Storeman. Within this role I am responsible for the care of
accounts that we hold. This ranges from expense items, main accountable documents and including
maintenance of weapons for the local units in the British army on the Salisbury plain district. I am also the
front man for the 2 year cyclic stocktaking procedure for the units we care for.

Technical Supply Specialist (Logistics Specialist)
BRITISH ARMY /Royal Corps of Signals - 2002 to 2012
I have been in the British Army serving in the Royal Corps of Signals now for 10 years. In this time I have
been employed in 2 different trades, one being an Technical Supply Specialist (Logistics Specialist) and the
my other secondary trade as an Area Systems Operator (Telecommunications).In this time I have been
trained to use a variety of communications systems and the process of supply chain. As a Technical Supply
Specialist my responsibilities in the Department were –
• To manage Store Accounts for the troops within the Squadron/Departments
• Maintain Stock levels on Expense Accounts
• Maintain Equipment Stock levels in the Stores Department
• Process broken equipment through the repair chain and therefore process back through the supply
chain to obtain replacements

With both trades combined I have a wide range of experiences and have been tested out on operations in
Afghanistan (QM Dept. JFCIS Camp Bastion) and the Falklands (UQMS Dept. JCUFI) and each time I have
been leading the departments that I worked in to reach their goals to make the job successful. With this while
in the Falklands I was the focal point for all back-loading of old communication systems back to the UK and
3. Afghanistan I was the focal point for the entire main equipment table for entitlement to which the unit was
allowed to hold.
Area Systems Operator
BRITISH ARMY / Royal Corps of Signals – 2002 to 2012
In this role I was a Detachment Commander of the Radio Relay system which formed part of the
PTARMIGAN communications network when deployed. This involved being able to set up a wide area
Communications network whether it was in a trunk set up or stand-alone somewhere out on the hills. This
link was the vital point where the communications could be passed around the battle space being where the
transmissions could be relayed further. Usually in this set up I would have another detachment with me
being an SAS/MC (Secondary Access Switch/Message Centre) this vehicle could provide voice
communications and data via a tele printer. In some cases this was needed in order to engineer in a link by
the Switch to make all the telephone and data connections active. Sometimes i was in charge of both
systems. This person s known as the SAN Group commander. My other duties and skills included:
