Melissa Wrenn has worked at the Kona Pacific School as a classroom aide, special education aide and
an assistant in both the grades and in the kindergarten. She has also been a long-term substitute for us
carrying a grades class on her own.
Ms. Wrenn is an exceptional person. She is enthusiastic, organized, positive, dedicated and hard-
working. In the responsibilities Ms. Wrenn has taken up for us, she has shown herself to be not only
professional, but talented. Ms. Wrenn demonstrates a remarkable blend of strong teacherly presence,
warmth, clarity and good humor.
She shows initiative, creativity and she is an innovative problem solver. She is also very much a team
player and is able to both lead and support.
Ms. Wrenn is a natural born teacher, yet she also seeks to grow professionally and personally. She
studies independently and collaboratively in her efforts to further herself.
Ms. Wrenn would be a tremendous asset to any school community. I highly recommend her to your
school. She is capable of carrying a class and, while she is just beginning this journey, Ms. Wrenn will
prove to be an outstanding class teacher.
