Letter of Recommendation for Flanna Kimmick
It has been my pleasure to know for Flanna the last 2 years. She worked with me in my
Earth Science class last year and she continues to work in the district this year. She is a
lovely woman with tremendous potential and is highly respected among her peers.
Flanna has always demonstrated characteristics which illustrated a motivated and
independent teacher who works very hard to ensure that her students are successful. She
is goal oriented and is extremely dedicated to her students. Flanna is always willing to put
in that extra effort and her determination is a true measure of her success in the
classroom.
In the classroom, Flanna has a natural affinity towards her students. She communicates
expectations clearly and concisely. She has a strong work ethic which she instills in her
students and a good foundation in Earth Science. I have seen her work with both the
strong and the struggling student and she always finds a way to get through to them and
help them to understand the concepts that they are having difficulty with. She treats all her
students with respect and is helping them to not only be good students, but good citizens
as well.
I would be honored to recommend for Flanna admission to the Master’s program at the
American Museum of Natural History. Flanna is without question a fine candidate for
character and personal promise. Should you choose to accept her, I am sure you will find
her to be a productive and valuable member of your collegiate environment.
Sincerely,
