To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing this letter recommending Ashley Thielmeier for a special education position in your
district. I have known Ms. Thielmeier for approximately five years. During that time, she has
been a collaborating teaching partner in both 7th and 8th grade Core Math Classes and Math
Enrichment Classes. Ashley shows great understanding about her students and the struggles
they face each day. Her knowledge and understanding prove to be a very important part of the
learning environment that we share. She is able to connect with each student she encounters
and has the ability to develop strong, meaningful relationships.
In the school setting, Ms. Thielmeier maintains a good balance of discipline and care for all
students. She has a positive, contagious attitude and an obvious passion for her position. She
is a true team player and keeps the overall goals and missions of the school as the centerline
of her decision making processes.
Ms. Thielmeier would be an excellent candidate for you to consider. She is creative and loves
sharing her ideas with those around her. She wants what’s best for students and does
whatever it takes for each student to be successful. We have created meaningful lessons
through our collaboration that I will continue to use throughout my teaching career.
