FacilitiesandOperationsServicesforthe Lake StevensSchoolDistrict. Shaneisanexcellentcandidatefor

I have knownShane and his familyforalmost5 years. We became acquaintedshortlyafterthe Krueger
family moved to the Lake Stevensarea and it was immediately evidentthat Shane was a man of action,
determination and passion for his family and community. He quickly integrated himself into the Lake
Stevenscommunity,andhe and his familycan now be founddeeplyentrenchedin servingLake Stevens
schools through their involvement in athletics, academics, music, coaching, hosting exchange students,
and various other community service opportunities. Shane is familiar with the schools and facilities in
Lake Stevenselementarythroughhighschool and is a proud supporterof a varietyof school activities. I
believe Shane would take great pride in this position knowing that through managing facilities, safety,
transportationand operationsforthe districthe wouldbe servinghisfamily,friends,andthe greaterLake
Stevens community.
Equally as impressive as Shane’s dedication and passion for his community are his leadership and
interpersonal skills. You can see from his application that his Navy resume and experience is vast and
impressive. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Shane outside of hismilitary career, and I have witnessed
numeroussituationswhere Shane hasdrawnupon hisextensive trainingtomotivate andinspire people
to accomplishthingstheydidn’tbelieve theywerecapable of before Shanehelpedthemfindthe courage
to try. While thishasbeeninamore casual fitnesssetting,Ihave nodoubtthatShane wouldbringthese
same qualities to a professional setting such as the Lake Stevens School District.
People are drawn to Shane. He’s real, honest, organized and incredibly hard working. People listento
him, learn from him, and follow his example. He is willing to learn, ask questions, and jump right in to
action. He is a natural leader and manager, and I believe he is an excellent fit for this position.
