CAREER OBJECTIVE:
A position which will utilize my educational training and experience and lead to
advancement opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability, skills, and extensive training in the following areas: Receptionist and
Management in different organizations; medical offices, hotels, customer service, senior
centers. Being a field technician specializing in equipment setups in oxygen, and etc.
Also having knowledge of billing various insurances. Computers skills, word, excel, and
other various programs.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
3/2009- PRESENT: Sandoval County Senior Center Program Site Supervisor, My duties
are: Plans, coordinates, and evaluates a variety of arts, cultural and recreational programs
and events for a Senior Center, Manages a variety of technical issues, including
inspections and evaluation of facilities and related assets for compliance with safety and
security standards, review of activity logs, manages budgets and expenses, coordinates
the scheduling of recreational activities and rental use of facilities. Plans, directs,
coordinates, and reviews the work of assigned staff, assigns tasks, coordinates schedules,
projects and programs, reviews and evaluates staff’s work and makes suggestions and
recommendations. Coaches, trains and motivates staff, provides staff trainings, manage
employee relations. Completes a variety of paperwork. Making sure that all rules,
regulations, and laws governing its operation are met. Assures that the facility and
grounds are maintained and cleaned on a regular basis. Responds to telephone calls and
performs various office/ clerical functions such as typing letters, and memos, compiling
spreadsheets, filling, and outreach for the senior center. Making sure all EID rules and
regulations are being followed in the kitchen facilities such as: Correct Temperatures,
wearing hair nets, gloves, aprons, first in and out inventory procedures, sanitation,
inventory control, ordering of all food produce, High volume of Assessments and
Reassessments of clients.
9/2003- 3/2009 Mount Taylor Medical Supply, My duties include office manager, patient
service technician setting up oxygen equipment, nebulizers, C pap machines, hospital
beds, and etc. billing various insurances.
3/2003-9/2003. South Western Private Services, My duties include PCA. (Personal Care
Attendant) taking care of clients needs. (Bathing clients, cleaning client’s home,
preparing meals, transportation, assist with medications.)
4/1994-5/2002. Presbyterian, Medical Records Technician and Registration Clerk, My
duties included pulling and filing patients charts for medical personnel, registering
patients, making appointment, answering phones, entering encounters and coding of
encounters with ICD9 and CPT codes, working in drug room entering prescriptions in to
the computer.
3/1992-4/1994. 7 to 11 store, my duties were cashier, public awareness, stocking, and
keeping the store clean.
EDUCATION:
Mission Bay Career Center, San Diego California. Graduated from two phases of travel
industry programs.
Cuba High School, Cuba New Mexico, Graduated with a general course of studies which
included in business (typing, word processing, office systems, and accounting).
