GROUP 5
IDEA 1- BASTILLE- THINGS WE LOST IN THE
FIRE
• Performance- The performance would include a band and a garage. This would suit
the genre and follow the conventions of a band music video. We would film from a
variety of angles therefore it will give us the possibility to include multiple clips and
it will be fairly easy to edit. We will have a lead singer which will be Charlie and then
a guitarist which will be Jake and a drummer which will be played by a member
outside of the group. We will include close ups and match on action with the
instruments throughout the performance.
• Narrative- The narrative will be a group of lads in a forest sitting over a fire. The
mood and emotion shown by the actors will be negative and dull to begin with but as
the song processes their emotions will begin improve and it ill end up with them
jumping around and dancing.

• Shots- We will use a establishing shot at the beginning to set the location of
were the performance with take place and then another one of the forest
were the narrative will take place. Close up, mid shots and long shots will be
used to show the band performance. Fast paced editing to make it fluent
and suitable for the song.
• Mise en scene- We will have instruments; guitar, drums etc. The band will
be wearing casual clothing which will include, jeans smart shirt, boots as it
will suit the genre. We will film in daylight as it was be clearer and better
quality when we begin to edit.
IDEA 2- SAINT RAYMOND-EVERYTHING SHE
WANTS
• Performance- We will film the performance part in the same place were filming the
narrative (Terrace Gardens). It will include only the artist/performer which is Charlie.
We will have fast editing to match the tempo of the song. We will use various angels
and shot types such us pan shots and close ups. The artist will be looking directly
towards the camera during the performance. We found this common within this
genre of music.
• Narrative- the narrative will be about a girl and a boy. The boy will be interested in
the girl where as the girl wont pay attention to him. It will start with the boy sitting
on a park bench looking at his phone liking pictures of her. Then he will notice her
across the park and try and get her attention. Towards the end she will finally notice
him and they walk off together.
IDEA 2- SAINT RAYMOND-EVERYTHING SHE
WANTS
• Mise en scene- The artist will be wearing causal clothing with the possibility
of a hat but definitely jeans, converse and jewellery to make it more original.
Props will include a phone, coffee cup and a magazine. We wont use any
lighting as we plan to film in daylight.
• Shots- We will have a establishing shot at the beginning of the mv. We will
use a variety of shots such as; close up, mid shot, long shot and over the
shoulder during the performance and narrative.

The artist will be looking directly towards the camera during the performance. We found this common within this genre of music. • Narrative- the narrative will be about a girl and a boy. The boy will be interested in the girl where as the girl wont pay attention to him. It will start with the boy sitting on a park bench looking at his phone liking pictures of her. Then he will notice her across the park and try and get her attention. Towards the end she will finally notice him and they walk off together.

IDEA 2- SAINT RAYMOND-EVERYTHING SHE WANTS • Mise en scene- The artist will be wearing causal clothing with the possibility of a hat but definitely jeans, converse and jewellery to make it more original. Props will include a phone, coffee cup and a magazine. We wont use any lighting as we plan to film in daylight. • Shots- We will have a establishing shot at the beginning of the mv. We will use a variety of shots such as; close up, mid shot, long shot and over the shoulder during the performance and narrative.
