Opening Title
Analysis
Reservoir Dogs (1992)
Low-budget film so there is no production company present but
the film opens with a shot followed by the filmmaker’s credit. This is
the first of the text credits.
After that there is one sequence that introduces all the main
characters in one take as they move together. This establishes the
roles and the ‘relationship’ between them.
This is followed by other key crew members such as voicing,
costume design, editor, production designer, director of
photography, music supervisor and casting.
Last in the text credits before the first scene are the producers
(co-producer, executive producer and main producer.)
After this we are thrown straight into the action of the first scene.
