horizontal monobores, SAGD and close space directional pad drilling operations to
depths of 5500 meters. Safely and successfully developing high profile and publicly
sensitive projects.
 Developed innovative procedures for optimizing long reach horizontal, under-balanced
horizontal and multi-leg horizontal drilling, re-entry and completion operations.
 Successful coordination of hundreds of company relations, surface rights and stakeholder
negotiations involved in lease construction, drilling, completion and production operations
within sensitive rural communities.
 Developed Ultra-Light Oilfield Surface Cement Blends, receiving Alberta ERCB
regulatory approval for Surface Hole application.
 Published author “The Design and Development of a Drilling Simulator for Planning and
Optimizing Under-Balanced Drilling Operations” (JCPT June 2010, SPE 139125). In
collaboration with Prof. Geir Hareland and Farid Shirkavand, University of Calgary.
