Key Deliverables
• Achieved world’s best performance in Dry days per 1000m on a rack-and-pinion rig; instrumental in gaining zero-
lost time accident
• Awarded additional funds to venture a fourth well at Shell Todd Oil Services
• Accountable for reviewing project campaign objectives, existing operational systems, design and procedures,
drilling operational workshops, leadership enrollment, and drilling/ completion/ work over rig operational cost
optimization
• Assisted FDP group for value maximization with respect to well related contracts
• Identified NPT, ILT and inefficiencies and required behaviors to implement and support the Continuous
Improvement Process while analyzing current performance and determining effectiveness of learning processes
• Coordinated the process of achieving optimum performance in all phases of the operation through people
challenging existing practices
• Engaged in drilling practices and remedial actions with BSP (Brunei Shell Petroleum) for almost 6-7 years, and
then with Phillips Oil and Japex for a year of two.
• Operated as the Advanced Logging System Engineer and Total Drilling Control Engineer to analyze data, interpret
trends, and inform the wellsite leaders, engineers and the geological team about the variations or deviations of the
growing slope from the normal/ expected trend
• Calculated D’exponent as a major parameter for overpressure detection tool besides interpreting the ‘Trends’,
preventing ‘stuck-pipe’ situations, and picking up ‘Influx/kicks’ which resulted in the well-bore hydrostatic
pressure depletion
• Functioned as a Mud logger and Geologist and gathered drilling (hook load, rpm, torque, pump pressure, flow-
rate, and mud parameters like mud weights, temperatures and conductivity) and geology data, keeping the
sensors in working conditions and data recording in process
• Responsible for managing the mud logging unit while acquiring knowledge of computers, electrical and electronic
parts; engaged in real-time data transmission while preparing plots and graphs and watching the well behavior
