• 3. Neuter gender - denotes inanimate things or
whatever is without life
4. Common gender - applied to animate beings,
the sex of which for the time being is
indeterminable, such as fish, mouse, bird, etc
3. EXAMPLES
•A boy is playing in the play-ground.
(«a boy» is masculine-gender noun.)
•Heroine of the movie is not a native
of this country. (“heroine” is feminine-
gender noun.)
•Stars are not visible in the day-time.
•Computer has brought about drastic
changes in our lives. (“computer” and
“stars” are the neuter-gender nouns.)
