As VP Operations at BusinesSuites, I supervised Marsha from September 2014 through October 2015.
BusinesSuites was an Austin-based premium provider of executive suite and shared office space with
locations in seven states. The company was sold in October 2015.
We hired Marsha in 2014 to take on the management of our Raleigh, NC location. The location had
been through a bumpy start, we were in a new and unfamiliar market, and we needed a well-rounded
professional who could drive sales, establish our brand in the market, and stabilize a small team of
administrative professionals in order to improve our level or service. Marsha exceeded our
expectations.
Marsha made sales a priority, and got her team focused as well. At the end of her first year, she had
increased billings 250%, and she contributed to some record sales months for the company as a whole
during 2015. She was diligent and creative establishing our brand locally. Only six month into her
tenure, Marsha and her team won BusinesSuites’ 2015 Best Team in Marketing award. She also
stabilized the team, and we were impressed with her approach to team development. She was in the
process of grooming one of her team members for promotion to a manager role when the company was
sold.
I worked with Marsha on various sales, operations, team and client issues during the year she was
center manager for BusinesSuites. I always admired and appreciated the judgment and professionalism
that she brought to every situation. Based on what she accomplished for BusinesSuites, I am confident
Marsha could learn any role and bring value to any company she signed on with. I would happily work
with Marsha again if the opportunity arose.
