1. What have you learnt
about technologies from
the process of constructing
this product?
2. Through using Blogger, I have learnt how to embed
my work onto my blog, create links, and most importantly
navigate a blog.
When using InDesign, I did some independent
learning through technology (YouTube) to help
me create my double page spread.
I used Survey Monkey when I created a survey to
help me with my research. It helped me learn how
to gather and interpret information.
Using Photoshop, I learnt many things, including
how to manipulate images using a various amount
of effects. I also learnt how to use the tools on the
side correctly to help glamorise my magazine and
make it look legit.
I used Slideshare and Prezi to show presentations or information I have gathered.
I had to use an embed code to enable me to post them onto my blog, making
I easier to share my work.
When conducting my research I used
the search engine ‘Google’ on ‘Safari’
and also ‘Google Chrome’. This was very
useful as I learnt many different things to
help create my magazine.
3. I used a MAC computer when conducting my research
and when I created my production. I learnt how to
share photos and learnt the importance of naming
my files and organising them, so I don’t lose them.
I used a SLR camera to take a number
of high quality photos, in doing so I
learnt how to use lighting and
flooding in the correct way and also
how to
use and take loads photos
and upload them onto
the computer.
When taking the photos for my magazine
I used professional lighting equipment
and a white background for my front
cover. This meant that the photos would
come out looking very clear because of
the resourceful lighting. This allowed me
to create all kinds of effects on the
computer when the photos were later
uploaded onto PhotoShop as they were
easier to edit.
