1. Certificate of Internship
Maria Berglin has been an intern at Prettyworks AB, the owner of the cutting edge
brands Prettypegs and Hum’s Slippers. Berglin’s internship covered 2 longer periods of
time during 2016, 11 January – 27 May 2016, and 22 August – 28 October 2016.
Berglin’s main responsibilities has primarily covered Sales, Marketing and PR, which
aims to form an efficient Go-To-Market approach for international markets.
I’ve tried to outline a few important tasks and challenges within each area of expertise
Ms Berglin has been dealing with during the internship period.
SALES
• Identifying potential reseller vendors, offline and online, in various markets,
such as U.S., France, and UK.
• Handeling already excisting business customers, serving a role as Key account
manager.
• Creating, customizing sales materials and pitch presentations – such as printed
brochures and digital presentations.
• Approaching and closing deals with selected resellers.
RESULTS: Approx. 12 new customers within above mentioned markets. Maintaining
good relations with excisting accounts.
MARKETING
• Content Marketing – production of inspirational content targeting new and
existing customers, primarily digital channels and our newsletters. - CRM
• Online Marketing – introduced to analytics and advertising tools such as Google
Analytics and Adwords for following up campaigns and media investments, not
the least tracking user behavior.
RESULTS: Increased the total number of email addresses to 15000 respondents.
PR
• Production of multiple pressreleases - such as product releases and company
collaborations.
• Planned and executed campaigns, both in our social media and physically.
• Maintained and improved relationship with our broad network of journalists
and bloggers across the globe.
RESULTS: Successfully carried through 5 media press coverage, in 3 markets.
