Product Marketing Manager, Ricoh UK Ltd - July 2013 – Present
Ricoh is a leading manufacturing organisation, producing print related hardware and software
products on a global scale. As part of the Product Management team, I am responsible for
introducing new products to market and managing existing products through the lifecycle.
Daily activities include delivering new propositions, developing digital campaigns, providing
competitor analysis, preparing collateral for Sales to ensure a successful launch.
Responsibilities and achievements:
• Launched multiple print management software products allowing organisations to
increase productivity whilst improving cost efficiencies, for both cut sheet and
continuous feed customers
• Develop digital marketing campaigns to increase product awareness and sales
• Introduced initiatives to help drive sales and improve ROI with new and existing
customers via effective marketing campaigns and attractive sales propositions
• Develop core market knowledge, competitor product analysis, SWOT analysis to aid
the understanding of the market place and to understand competitor weaknesses
• Continually update the sales team with market intelligence and provide effective sales
tools to assist the customer facing sales meetings
• Assist with developing marketing and sales content for the website and various
brochures
• Build and manage relationships with 3rd
party suppliers and run quarterly business
reviews to build the product portfolio
• Support both the Ricoh direct sales channel and the distributor partner channel
• Develop all pricing for software products ensuring healthy margins are protected

Product Manager, DRS Data Services - Nov 2008 – June 2013
DRS Data Services is a global leading specialist data capture company operating in niche
markets such as Elections, Census and Education.
Responsibilities and achievements:
• Led the development of a new and improved high speed PS900 scanner from initial
concept, through to design, delivery and launch. This scanner was manufactured in-
house within cost and time constraints for the 2012 London Mayoral election
• Develop business cases, profit and loss accounts that showcase potential product or
service opportunities and risks
An ambitious manager with a deep passion for product management. Key strengths
include 10 years of product development and product lifecycle experience, delivering a
vast array of products ranging from personal cleansing products to industrial high
speed paper scanners and software at a global level. Throughout each project, my
skills have enabled me to successfully deliver major products. I have built strong
relationships with key departments and stakeholders, negotiated and influenced at a
senior level and maintained the customer focus required to deliver specified
propositions on time and within cost.
• Liaise with customers in order to gather specification data and to understand post
sale customer satisfaction along with any insights into new opportunities
• Construct three year product roadmaps which include expected initiative spend and
expected revenue details
• Lead weekly product development meetings ensuring product development gates are
adhered to whilst meeting the specifications
• Introduced a monthly sales forecast report vs. stock to ensure that high lead time
products are always kept in supply, which ensured immediate visibility of potential
stock issues
• Conduct win/loss analysis to aid future projects
• Design end of life strategies for legacy products that are no longer financially viable to
maintain

Procter & Gamble (P&G) is the largest consumer packaged goods company in the world
serving the fast moving consumer goods market and is a Fortune 500 company. P&G offer a
strong portfolio of trusted products within two market segments “Beauty and Grooming” and
“Household Care” which generates annual revenue in excess of $82 billion.
Responsibilities and achievements:
Research, develop and launch new P&G global line extension products. Collaborated with
regional marketing teams to create product concepts identifying the target consumer.
Conducted in-depth consumer research to understand and identify winning scents,
formulation technologies and packaging using qualitative and quantitative research
techniques. Analysed the qualitative and quantitative data in order to develop new compelling
advertising claims. Managing all research and development technical documentation.
