I was talking with my friend Jay, @angrybovine the other day about Design. About what it means to be a Designer. I told him, I believe a Designer is someone who designs solutions to solve big problems. And as such, maybe I’m a designer after all. Because I certainly can’t do all the things a graphic designer does. Jay said, “Oh, you mean Big D and little d?” From there we had an awesome conversation about what it means to be a Designer. And my worldview has been forever changed. What do you think about this view of a Designer vs a designer? Let me know below in the comments. BTW - this is not a slight or a knock on anyone who creates visual design for a living (or a hobby). This is about mindset. Visual designers can easily be Designers (and the best ones are)
