JOB TITLE: Acting Supervisor (Automation Section, Engineering Department).
Duration : 1995 to present
· 20 Years in Instrumentation, Control System and SCADA with balanced
& diversified exposure to various engineering activities like
Engineering, Project Management, installation, Construction, Testing &
Commissioning, maintenance support to Operations in all Waha Oil
Company production (oil & gas) facilities. Currently acting as
Supervisor for Automation section, consisting 10 people of various
nationalities. Automation section is responsible for all the Instrument
and Control/safety system upgrade in all Waha Oil Company facilities.
· Proven track record in leading successful upgrade of the instrumentation
and control systems for two major projects in Gattar pumping station
and Dahra central station (LRP) liquid recovery plant in addition to
number of smaller size projects.

instrumentation from simple pneumatic instruments to complex control
systems (DCS, PLC and ESD system).
· Provided support to operations for the Es-Sider loading terminal for the

· Upgrade for the control system of oil plant in Gialo II station.
· Upgrade for the control system of gas plant in Dahra central station.
· Upgrade for the control system of crude oil in Es-sider port in
Mediterranean Sea.

· Upgrade for the control system of pumping station in Gattar station.

technical & project documents and Field work.
· Field supervision of installation and commissioning for gas metering
system to be installed in all sites of Waha fields.
· Material inspection and validation against Data sheets.
· Plan for construction duties and issued activity report.
· Liaison with operation departments during commissioning, shutdown
and start up.
· Conducting Factory acceptance tests (FAT) at contractors premises and
site acceptance tests (SAT) at site.

· Very good experience with Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel,
Power point, access, Visio 2003).
· Familiar with MATLAB program 2003.
