(The Not- So Impossible Mission)
Analyze the Learner
 General Characteristics: The unit plan will be for a fifth grade classroom.
The classroom has 20 students. 11 students are male and 9 are female. 13
students are white and 7 are black.
 Specific entry competencies: The students have basic knowledge in…
 - Using social media
 - Researching on the Internet
 - Microsoft Office
 - How to operate a computer and iPad
 Learning Style: The majority of the students prefer to be doing activities
where they are actively learning and participating. They enjoy to work with
the other students and engage in activities where they get to use their
creative minds.
Main Objective
 Students will have knowledge on environmental issues and global warming.
Along with this, students will be equipped with ways they can help the
environment on their own. Students will be able to know this information
after classroom discussions, researching with a web quest, watching videos
and making a video on their own, and implementing technology social media.
The unit plan will consist of five days, and students should be able to
understand the information with 80% accuracy. If, by any chance, the student
cannot do this, they will be permitted to try again until they can do so.

 Day 1: Social Media and Blog familiarization
 Day 2: WebQuest and PowerPoint
 Day 3: YouTube Videos
 Day 4: Photoshop and classroom poster
 Day 5: Arts and Bots

Mission save mother earth

  • 1. Mission Save Mother Earth (The Not- So Impossible Mission)
  • 2. Analyze the Learner  General Characteristics: The unit plan will be for a fifth grade classroom. The classroom has 20 students. 11 students are male and 9 are female. 13 students are white and 7 are black.  Specific entry competencies: The students have basic knowledge in…  - Using social media  - Researching on the Internet  - Microsoft Office  - How to operate a computer and iPad  Learning Style: The majority of the students prefer to be doing activities where they are actively learning and participating. They enjoy to work with the other students and engage in activities where they get to use their creative minds.
  • 3. Main Objective  Students will have knowledge on environmental issues and global warming. Along with this, students will be equipped with ways they can help the environment on their own. Students will be able to know this information after classroom discussions, researching with a web quest, watching videos and making a video on their own, and implementing technology social media. The unit plan will consist of five days, and students should be able to understand the information with 80% accuracy. If, by any chance, the student cannot do this, they will be permitted to try again until they can do so.
