2. DEVELOPMENT OF IDEA/ PLANNING
•After first project we wanted a more focussed
film

3. FILMING PROCESS
• Had multiple meetings: Roles, Ideas, Organisation, booking
equipment
• Tutorial before filming: Storyboard
• Filming Ideal films: Individually filming, our old footage
• Shoot for Realistic films: Picked up equipment 10:30am,
filmed until 2, edited until late
• Tutorial during filming: Discuss sound ideas and green
screen
• Shoot in Workstation: 5-8pm filming, make-up
• Editing: Many edit sessions, struggled with green screen
4. TECHNICAL ELEMENTS
• The use of green screen enabled us to seemingly project another
image onto the actor's blindfold, without having two projectors
overlapping.
• We used liquid latex and foundation on the actors forehead to create a
second skin like layer that we could safely put a needle through. The
foundation helped to blend the colour of the latex to the correct skin
colour.
• Fake blood, piping and a syringe was used to create the blood flow
scene. We hid the pipe in the sleeve of the actor stitching through the
latex whilst one of us pushed blood through via the syringe, pouring
onto the actor's face.
5. SOUND
• Focus on building atmosphere and tension
• Sounds recorded in various locations and
manipulated
• Sounds created in pro-tools
• Much more complex than our previous film
• We recorded sounds of household and
distorted them to portray a contrast between
the ideal life and reality
6. EDITING
• Used a colour key to replace the green
screen mask with the idealistic videos
• Created a glitch effect to put throughout
the video
• Used a mask to remove tracking points
