Within 10 years, technology will significantly impact human social interactions and relationships. Transactional relationships will be largely replaced by technology, though technology still lacks human empathy. Artificial intelligence will continue advancing to where machines can automate many human tasks and interactions may feel almost human. However, technology lacks human emotions and the social aspects of relationships that technology cannot replace. The roles of humans in relationships will change as technology evolves much faster than humans, requiring people and technology to work together for continued progress.
