2. Process
• One of my first processes was exploring royalty free music clips for setting the
scene. To do this I went on a website provided to me by my tutors and found a clip
which I could use without the risk of copyright infringement making my product
monetizable.
• Another process towards the end of my planning and the beginning of my
production was the use of audio recorders, during this process me and my group
began recording and produced a twelve minute audio clip which would be edited
for my podcast but after converting the files over onto my computer the audio
recorder cut out which meant I had to record it all again at a later day. To record it
the second time over we decided to use our phones which made it easier to
physically record and to move it over onto a computer.
• To have a solid attempt at getting a conversation going on my podcast I came up
with a list of general topics and discussions to keep out any stuttering and other
errors which could have occurred, this helped in my final recording as we didn’t
run out of things to speak about making the conversation more fluent.
• To edit my final piece I used Adobe Premiere Pro I used this application because it
has a very professional feel to it and it is somewhat easy to use. Firstly I added the
video we took into it and then I split the MP4 and MP3 leaving just audio for my
podcast. After doing this I added my royalty free music and started cutting the
clips down because the time went over by a few minutes. I then added some outro
music at the end which was a sample from the music I used at the start and finally
I exported it as an mp3 file onto my USB.
3. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
• I will include the use of premiere pro because
I will be able to edit my final product quickly
and efficiently and hopefully without error.
• Another element which I will be using in my
final project is the royalty free music I have
downloaded as I want to avoid all types of
copyright infringement.
