James-cooper created an audio production by gathering sound effects from YouTube and recording dialogue. He imported the audio files into Adobe Premier and edited them. This included cutting the files, adjusting volumes, and organizing the dialogue and sound effects into the proper sequence. James spent time cutting up each character's dialogue to remove mistakes and pauses. His final steps were fine-tuning the timing and flow of the audio by positioning the dialogue and sound effects to create a cohesive and engaging conversation without awkward pauses.
2. Process
• The first thing I started with when making my final audio product was to get the
sound effect I need to convey both a scene and actions so went onto YouTube for
the sound effect I may not be able to make or find around me and tale them over
the 2conv and convert them into audio files and save them on the sound effect file
in my hard drive.
• Next I took those audio file over to adobe premier and turned down the first sound
effect down which was the buzzing of the lights as to not make it to loud that you
wouldn't be able to hear the dialogue of other characters and sound effects.
3. Process
• After which I recorded my line for a character I was playing in the audio log
and after finishing up recording including a sound effect of and object being
slid across a table I took the files from the audio recorder and placed them
onto the sound effects file on my hard drive.
• Soon after I took my recorded audio over to premier and began cutting it up
into sections so I knew later on where to put other bits of dialogue from
people and sound effects
4. Process
• After finishing cutting up my audio I began adding the sound
effect early but this will change as the production go’s on.
• Next I recorded dialogue for Sam the ai and the survivor in
which after finishing recording I took the recorded file and
put them onto the sound effects file on my hard drive and
then moved them over to adobe premier.
5. Process
• After moving the file over I began cutting up he audio for Sam
first with the razor tool as his was the most simplest and
shortest so it was quick and easy to place where the pieces of
audio needed to go.
• Soon after finishing up with the audio for the character Sam I
moved onto the dialogue for the survivor which took quiet
some time to cut up with the razor tool including delating
miss reads done during the recording.
6. Process
• After finishing cutting up the audio for the survivor I began organising each piece to where
they need to be whilst leaving spaces for audio of oni agent 2 which I planed on recording
next.
• After getting the final recording I needed I began work on finalising my final audio product
as I had to use the razor tool to cut out pauses so the spoken sentence sounded more like a
conversation meaning the audio log wouldn't become boring with awkward pauses in
between sentences and moved around dialogue and sound effects including another audio
file I made in my spare time to bring it all together.
