Health Care Authority, Olympia, WA Feb 2016 –Present
Facilitates various process improvement projects throughout the agency. Works with frontline staff and
leaders at all levels through Lean coaching, team building and project management. Leads Change
Acceleration Process Training (CAP) and provides continuous education to Lean Green Belts. A primary
facilitator and member of the Medicaid Information and Technology Architecture (MITA) Team.
Facilitated standard work creation and tool development for the MITA Team on several processes.
Planned and facilitated 40+ processes in the MITA “As-Is” State Self-Assessment.

Processing. To date, the result is a 20% reduction in lead time and the debt to income has not yet been
released for this period. The state of Washington is adopting the team’s application for statewide use.
Facilitated a CAP for a new observation unit, resulting in $700,000 revenue.
