Pitching my ideas for ident

2. Introduction:
My name is Clare O’Mara, and I work for the channel
called, ‘The Grid’.
The Grid
Here is the logo for The
Grid which will be
appearing in the idents.
3. Four different ideas including four
different series of idents.
First ident idea which will be filmed in the food
technology food room. The target audience for this
ident is 18-30. The props used in this ident will form
to create the logo of, ‘The Grid’.
Here is the second ident idea. This ident will be set in an
art classroom but the audience will not seen any of the
classroom instead the audience will see a plan piece
paper with colourful paints which form in create the logo
of The Grid. Also the target audience for this ident is 18-
35 year olds.

Here is the third idea we came up. This ident
will be set outside in the playground during day
light. The target audience is 18-23 year olds
Here is the forth ident idea which will be set
during night time. The target audience for this
ident is 19-28 year olds this is because this ident
will not be childish but still be fun and bold.
5. Explaining why I chosen the series of
idents:
Here I have created four idents which are four different series
for the channel, ‘The Grid’.
this is so the channel, ‘The Grid’ appears more professional
and appealing if different types of idents are shown but still link
together.

(Kitchen ident): (Painting ident):
Tempo: Slow paced music and calm to listen to.
Composition: Logo appears at the end.
Space and time: Filmed in art room using paints.
High density of information: High density of
information and narrator speaks at the beginning of the
ident music begins at the end of the ident.
Interaction with viewers: Interesting and colourful.
Information VS Entertainment: Will be entertainment
but information will be included.
Tempo: Will be a slow then fast pace
Composition: Logo appears at the end.
Space and time: Filmed in a kitchen area.
High density of information and a large amount of
footage: Low density of information. Music plays in the
background of the ident.
Interaction with viewers: Creates a fun and lively
atmosphere.
Information VS Entertainment: Entertainment but no
information will be verbally deviled.

(Playground ident):
Tempo: The music begins slow then fast pace to attract
the target audience’s attention more.
Composition: Logo appears at the end.
Space and time: Filmed outside. (During day time).
High density of information: Narrator speaks in the ident.
And music is played in the background.
Interaction with viewers: The ident is interesting, fun and
youthful.
Information VS Entertainment: This ident is entertaining
but supplies the target audience with a lot of information
at the same time from the narrator.
Tempo: Slow paced
Composition: Logo appears at the end.
Space and time: Filmed outside. During night time).
High density of information: Low density of information music
is played though out the ident.
Interaction with viewers: Creates a calm and relaxed
atmosphere.
Information VS Entertainment: Entertaining for the audience
to watch and listen to music. But no verbal information is
supplied during this ident.
