2. MY STRENGTHS OF MY CHOSEN PROJECT
My main strength was the chosen genre I picked which was the
survival horror, as I knew as soon as I picked the genre I knew fully
what to do. First I planned out what I would add into my game
which would be mostly British oriented items I focused on the
storyline, objective and biography of the main character and
produced it to the best of my abilities as the games must have
those key elements or it would have no meaning which would
result in the game itself to be dull and boring, after that I finally
got into the interesting part to actually create my concept art from
the description of my game and try to form a certain atmosphere
to the game and to introduce the main character in the concept
art. The concept art took the most time as I designed the character
and the background from scratch using my own thoughts to
produce it which in the end seemed to pay off as I was happy with
my choice of design. To further reinforce my work I followed the
advice I was provided with and in doing so I took a print screen of
my concept art progressing to its final stages.
3. MY WEAKNESSES OF MY CHOSEN
PROJECT
My main weakness in my chosen project was coming up with the
ideas to put together in my concept art as designed everything
from scratch which made it quite dif ficult to manage in the first
stages of designing it as I had to come up of the background
atmosphere on where it is set so it would match my theme of
the story, I knew that if I were to design a military soldier for
my main character it would take a lot of detail to make it look
realistic. But as I finished the concept art I realised that I made
a few errors in my work including the detail of the sky in the
background which I could of added a little more detail to it.
Also adding abit more detail to the destroyed buildings also
including more aging onto the buildings.
