2. Genre
The genre for the 2011's edition to the sequel is a action-
adventure third-person shooter, the video-game Uncharted 3
Drake’s Deception made by Play stations Sony pictures
alongside with developers Naughty Dog. Due to the game
being a 15 rated it would have been aimed at 15-25 year
olds, the socio economic grouping for the people playing
this game would have be around the grouping of D and E,
who are interested in third person shooters mainly aimed at
male audiences as the game is a action shooter with
violence it would appeal to this group more.
3. Narrative
The narrative of the game consist of a Man who the person
playing the video-game gets to take control of a character
named Nathan Drake. The story itself revolves around a
man who is interested in buying Nate’s ring belonging to
one of his ancestors, through the game there is a lot of
betrayal and backstabbing.
This game is known to have inspiration from:

• Tomb raider
• Resistance

The production process to create Uncharted 3 consist of these
things:

To create the game there would have been a large production
group. Like most games these days, the video game had there
character’s motion captured in which this game can create photo
realistic graphics when movement is captured by motion capture,
which would of taken nine months to complete. The Game was
released on 7th generation consoles and another edition to the
franchise has been said to come out on 8th generation consoles.
6. Unchartered 3 has a range of different character's that are
featured throughout the game some of the main roles are:
• Nathan Drake- (Nolan North) The main character in the game who the player takes
control of.
• Victor Sullivan- s a longtime partner of Nathan Drake and a treasure hunter as well.
• Elena Fisher- Nathan Drake's love interest.
• Chloe Frasier- Nathan Drake's other love interest. She appears in the second video
game

Some of the aspects of Uncharted Gameplay include:

The game is a game that has a stealthy and shooter driven
type of gameplay, throughout the game there is loads of
puzzle solving generally involving to get from one place to
another. With some combat aspects at certain parts.

Nintendo. The game was first released in 1981, on the
games release there was no intended audience although the
majority playing the game were probably male teenagers.
Nowadays the game is for people of all ages, it is also seen
to be one of the classics what started off other games. The
game also has a place in the golden-era of video-games.
Socio economic grouping for the game would be around the
grouping of e and d.

Donkey Kong is considered to be the earliest video game
with a storyline that visually unfolds on screen, the story is
about a character originally named (jump man), but later
renamed Mario who the video-game player takes control of
trying to save his girlfriend (Lady) later renamed Pauline.
The game is known to have inspiration from the titles:

• Beauty and the Beast
• King Kong(Film)

As video-game was very much still in its infancy, the making of the
game would only have involved a small group, to create the game there
was only three people, Shigeru Miyamoto, Yoshaki Koizumi and Gregg
Mayles. One of the things the production group did, was go to a zoo to
watch how apes act. Since the release of the first Donkey multiple
editions of the game have been added to the games franchise, the game
has also been released on multiple platforms.

who will go on to become one of the biggest video game

• Lady (aka Pauline) - Jump man's girlfriend and damsel in

In the game the video-game player has the option to do many
things to interact with the game, to avoid barrels the player can
climb up ladders jump and use power-ups. Donkey Kong is one of
the first video games to feature multiple stages, in the game the
player is given 3 lives and a reward for the completion of each
level. The 22nd level of the game is well known for having an error
in it’s programming.
