1. Costume Design
Ross
How one of my characters will be dressed like in the film, I would like
them to dress like a youth. Ross is the character that is streetwise so
he would be dressed in this Way.
Tracksuit- My character will be wearing a tracksuit for a majority of
the time. I would like it to be black because it is a colour that is
associated with power and elegance.
Hat- In some parts of the film I would like my character to have a hat
on, more so the scenes were that character is outdoors.
Trainers- Throughout the film Ross will be wearing his black trainers,
wither he is around his area or indoors.
Gold Chain- Ross will have his gold chain on for must of the scenes
were he is out and about because he wants to show off. Gold is
associated with sophistication, elegance, value, quality and status.
String Vest- My character will be wearing a string vest for casual
dress, he will be scene with this on for most of the scenes were he is
indoors.
Pouch- My character will be wearing a pouch for most of the film,
this is going to be used because he will need something to keep all of
2. his possessions in. I would like the pouch to be black, black is
associated with power and elegance.
Gold Watch- I would like Ross to be wearing a gold watch
throughout the film, dew to how this character is he likes to brag
about his status Gold is a colour that is associated with this.
Earrings- Earrings is another thing that sis associated with the
character Ross, this is something that he will were to keep his status.
Jamel
My other character will be more smartly dressed to look like he is
from middle-class. Jamel is from a higher class so him being dressed
in this way will portray to a person that my character is as described.
Cardigan/Jumper- My character will be wearing a cardigan for a
majority of the film, I have chosen this for him to were because he
needs to look like he is well off.
Glasses- If possible I would like my actor to were glasses, I would like
my actor to were this because it’ll, make him look smart. Glasses are
also stereotypically worn by geeks.
3. Watch- Smart wrist wear is something that is needed for a person Of
middle class.
Cap- Throughout most of the film Jamel will be wearing his cap. I
would like the cap to black to show Jamel's Formality.
Polo Shirt- Jamel will be wearing his polo shirt for most of the film
scenes were he is indoors, when out with ross he does not like to
were expensive brands.
Vans- White shoes is a part of this characters costume, I would like
my character to were this to show his innocence.
Jeans- The last part of this character’s costume is jeans, I would like y
character to were this to make him come across as smart to the
viewer.
