>Friday Class: Things I can and can’t do as a pedestrian<
Topic: Road safety education.
Aim: To develop and practice:
 Vocabulary: Can/can’t actions (cross, drive, walk, etc.), traffic terms
(pedestrian, street, traffic lights, stop sign, etc.).
 Structures: present simple first person singular.
 Skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
 Function: expressing ability. Positive and negative statements.
Age: primary 9-10
Time: 90 minutes.
Materials:
 Worksheet.
 Library.
 Projector.
Introduction:
In this class we will take both classes to the library in which they will listen to Yaco’s
mother who is a founder of “Estrellas amarillas”, Silvia Gonzalez. She will explain
why this week is called “Semana de la Educación Vial” and some other rules we
should follow as regards this matter. Finally, children will have to solve a matching
activity.
Procedure:
1- Starting the class (15 min): At the beginning of the class we will take both
courses to the library and ask a student of each class to deliver the badges with the
pupils’ names to his/her classmates and we will take down note of the absent students.
2- Presentation(60 min): We will introduce Silvia Gonzalez and explain our
students why she is here. She will be presenting a speechabout “Estrellas Amarillas”
and about why this week is called “Semana de Educacion Vial”. Silvia will be
showing some videos to give visual representation of what she is going to explain.
Once the presentation is over, we will thank Silvia for coming and for the information
she gave us.
3- Time to work! (15 min): Now, students will have to solve a matching activity
from a worksheet that we will hand them in. The activity will consist of matching
some pictures with its correspondentsentences. Finally, we will ask them to hand
them in and to go back to the classroomto have everything ready to go home.

  • 1. Weekly Lesson Plan Assad, Besim Emiliano – Ramirez, Laura School N°4, 5th Grade C & D. Late shift. Lesson Plan 8° Date ofthe class: August, 22th . Timetable: 15.50 to 16.35 & 16.35 to 17.20. Teachers: Besim Assad – Laura Ramirez >Friday Class: Things I can and can’t do as a pedestrian< Topic: Road safety education. Aim: To develop and practice:  Vocabulary: Can/can’t actions (cross, drive, walk, etc.), traffic terms (pedestrian, street, traffic lights, stop sign, etc.).  Structures: present simple first person singular.  Skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.  Function: expressing ability. Positive and negative statements. Age: primary 9-10 Time: 90 minutes. Materials:  Worksheet.  Library.  Projector. Introduction: In this class we will take both classes to the library in which they will listen to Yaco’s mother who is a founder of “Estrellas amarillas”, Silvia Gonzalez. She will explain why this week is called “Semana de la Educación Vial” and some other rules we should follow as regards this matter. Finally, children will have to solve a matching activity.
  • 2. Procedure: 1- Starting the class (15 min): At the beginning of the class we will take both courses to the library and ask a student of each class to deliver the badges with the pupils’ names to his/her classmates and we will take down note of the absent students. 2- Presentation(60 min): We will introduce Silvia Gonzalez and explain our students why she is here. She will be presenting a speechabout “Estrellas Amarillas” and about why this week is called “Semana de Educacion Vial”. Silvia will be showing some videos to give visual representation of what she is going to explain. Once the presentation is over, we will thank Silvia for coming and for the information she gave us. 3- Time to work! (15 min): Now, students will have to solve a matching activity from a worksheet that we will hand them in. The activity will consist of matching some pictures with its correspondentsentences. Finally, we will ask them to hand them in and to go back to the classroomto have everything ready to go home.
