Liaison between stores and furniture manufacturers for 25-45 stores, assisting furniture
manufacturers with customer concerns communicated to store regarding quality issues, order
changes, fabric requests, and manufacturing status.

mind and helping store manager make informed decisions regarding cost of repair and vendor’s
responsibility in these costs.
Assist furniture manufacturers with order questions, fabric-cutting errors, and follow up with stores
to obtain needed information to enable the manufacturer to proceed with production.
Liaison between stores and delivery agents, fielding inquiries from stores regarding customer
delivery status, process change of delivery address requests.
Assist stores on delivery damage claims by determining the best solution to remedy the situation
for the customer and guiding the store on the most cost efficient means (repair or replacement),
using the delivery agent contract payment agreement to help make these decisions.
Complete and submit delivery damage claims and follow up on pending payments.
Use Helpstar/ServicePro database for all furniture issues, keep issues updated with phone calls,
faxed, emails with all partied involved, set and monitor alarms to keep issues updated.
Recognized for identifying the need for a combined system to manage inventories and rail
distribution, achieved through creation of Inventory Management System.
Executed a team based process to maintain manageable inventories during many production
disruptions by expediting rail shipments and minimizing truck shipments.
Operated a successful supply/demand plan to maintain standard inventory at nylon producing
plants and packaging locations including planning plant shutdowns and managing limited supply
distribution.
Served on a logistics/Nylon supply chain team to upgrade current rail ship point/destination
combinations, reducing the rail freight dollars by $250M the first year it was implemented
