2. PHYSICAL FITNESS
Physical fitness refers to a state of health and well-being and, more
particularly, the capacity to engage in certain activities related to sports,
occupations and daily activities.
According to Andin(1988), Physical Fitness is the ability to perform one’s
tasks efficiently without undue fatigue but with extra reserve in case of
emergency
4. HEALTH RELATED FITNESS
Includes skills that enable one to become and stay physically fit
Health related fitness includes body composition, flexibility, cardio respiratory endurance, muscular
endurance and muscular strength
BODY COMPOSITION
Refers to the percentage of fat, bone ,water and muscle in the human body
5. CARDIO RESPIRATORY ENDURANCE
It is the measure of how well the heart, lungs, and muscles perform during moderate to high-intensity
physical activity.
6. FLEXIBILITY
It refers to the ability to move a joint through its full range of motion.
MUSCULAR ENDURANCE
It refers to for how long the body muscles can hold on to a given weight

7. MUSCULAR STRENGTH
It is said to be the ability of the muscles to overcome the resistance
It is associated with the power and the strength of the muscles to exert force till it
reaches the point of muscle contractions

9. SKILLS RELATED FITNESS
Skill-related fitness is a term that refers to talents that aid in the acquisition of new
skills. Agility, balance, coordination, power, reaction time, and speed are the six
components of skill-related fitness
AGILITY
The ability of the body to change direction rapidly
BALANCE
The ability to control the body in standing, moving and performing positions

10. COORDINATION
The ability to use sense together with the parts of the body when performing motor
tasks smoothy and accurately.
POWER
The ability to use muscular strength rapidly
REACTION TIME
The time elapsed between stimulation and the beginning of the reaction.
